Nintendo has a hard on for the floating head and hands bosses.

Kirby (I think it was first to have the floating head with hands)

Smash Bros (Master and Crazy Hand fight like Wham Bam Rock from Kirby)

Star Fox (Andross got hands in 64)

Now DK joins the fray. Now that I think about it, Phantoon even fights like these guys in Other M shooting at you and trying to smash you with its tentacles.

@mmazingace Never played the Wind Waker games, but I did forget about Zelda's bosses like that. I can't believe I forgot Bongo Bongo of all bosses considering how bizarre and unique it is.

@TheGigafann119 I remember at last years E3, Retro saying they ditched the Kremlings for a more creative approach and you'll be blown away by the final boss.

And then it turned out to be... the floating head with hands, that I've killed in almost every N64 game. :(
