  • @zapruderOfilms Yes that happens. Not so much online but in a Vietnamese classroom since I'm quite comfortable speaking Vietnamese I have to remind myself to speak English and to avoid speaking Vietnamese-English-isms like that Portuguese one.

  • its so clear , thank you teacher

  • How can you be a teacher and teach others how to learn and study English if you yourself have a real troubles to learn other language? You cannot preach water and then drink wine!!!

  • @renski336 Actually my Vietnamese is quite good. I don't think I said that I have trouble learning a language, so maybe you misunderstood or maybe I said it wrong. Anyway, thanks for your comment.

  • @renski336 What I meant was NOT that I have any troubles learning another language, but that even though I had lived in a foreign country for a few years, I wasn't learning that new language just by being in the foreign country. And I have met many people who lived in a foreign country for 5-10-20 years and still couldn't speak the language at all. Maybe I didn't explain it well.

  • hi ,thanks for your teaching us your say your wife does't speak english so why you maried her , can explain us please the first meeting ors the first sight , in facte me im algerien my wife is americain the first time it was bad communication with her ,but she teching me slowly but surly hh take care my friend .

  • @mendouarledollar Yes, the first year was rather difficult for us to understand each other. Sometimes we would write to each other, because then we could take the time to look up new words in a dictionary. Now it's much easier because my Vietnamese is pretty good, and we understand each other more.

  • very good teacher,

    your explanation is really true.

  • cool...

  • Thank you my friend for these advices about learning English. You tell us from your experience and I think its true from my point of veiw.

  • he is easy to understand

  • Your accent has a hint of asian. It doesn't sound purely american.

  • Maybe because I have lived in Asia for so long.

  • That's would I would think.

  • You will learn a good bit of the language. However you will not become fluent without the work. I know this through experience. Also I believe in writing in the language. Because people are usually more open to correcting your language if it is written down than if you speak it to them. Keep trying, I will do the same!

  • thats true ....u r a good teacher

  • i'm vietnamese ^^~
