This cover isn't bad. In fact, it might have been "her" song - that is, if the original by Maria Muldaur back in 1974 wasn't such a definitive standard.

You've got to listen to that one - Maria's voice slides up and down, and in and out of various characters effortlessly, even in the same line! No overt, "forced" stylings - just a real natural musicality. A perfect voice for that song.

Not saying that Renee's version isn't good - it's just no one can beat Maria's original!
