Yes. Being that the package spoiled $500 Can, I was a little suprised that they wouldn't take the 5 minutes to physically install the hard drives. It would be more protected inside for sure. I suppose, in fairness, they didn't know that all customers wanted to use the drive that way. Again, I wondered why the seal on the package was removed, even though the protective wrapping was undisturbed. Canada Customs I guess. Remember Bin Laden's threats :-)

Hmmm... Does that exact type of knife have to be used or can one substitute any sharp cutting tool i.e. a utility or x-acto knife? ;) ;)
