In the 'vomit comet', you obtain a brief period of weightlessness before having to endure 2G's to climb-out of the dive to do the weightlessness again. I've seen videos of people struggling with just 2G's!

The documentary "Reach for the Black Sky" about SpaceShipOne talks about hitting 5G's on re-entry after their winning X-Prize flights.

I wonder how many people will want to endure 5G's on their bodies?

I know space is going to be difficult, but I'm not sure people know what they're in for...

what if u go too far up and your space craft isnt pointing the right direction to fly back to earth???? this thing doesnt seem like it has more than 1 thrusting direction so you'll be floating in space til everyone dies

@ricebag The craft is in a sub-orbital trajectory. It's like if you throw something up in the air it will fall back, the same will happen to the spacecraft. The aircraft only points in that direction for the smoothest reentry into the denser parts of Earth's atmosphere. The only time the engine fires is to get it up near space, gravity does the rest :)

@abkleo you guys keep ignoring my question....Does the aircraft have a toilet or not? Wouldn't a private area in the aircraft with a toilet that uses the suction technology be necessary?. Going to space isnt a short journey I hope you guys know that and the probability of someone being pressed to relieve himself just like in any long flight can be quite an issue.

After all its a spaceship, and with such vessels comes some requirements such as decent health and not being drastically overweight.

I'm also pretty sure they will find people with that kind of money willing to go on it, just think stock market whizz kids, merchant bankers, in fact any bankers, actors, producers the list is endless.
