  • did u consider the theoben rapid rather than the hw100?

  • very helpfull thanks

  • Really really helpful video

Nice and simple for beginners like me to understand.

  • @TheAdamUK Glad you like it and understood it too :-)

  • what is the first guns name

  • @mattblinge looks like an smk b2

  • @mattblinge

    it is a HW 35

  • A pleasure seeing your videos. I'm sure this is very helpful for people who are getting back into it, as everything has changed so very much in this world of airguns, take care.

  • Great video, thanks.

  • @AirgunGear Thank you :-)

  • lovely video thank you.

  • @bmofano Thank you ;-)

  • Nice video, I did cringe a little on the second rifle when you put your left hand between the stock and the lever,I know there is a anti beartrap but best to be on the safe side. Hope to see some more vids from you.

  • im not usually one to compare airsoft/paintball/air rifles to real firearms...........but Dont most people who love shooting (particularily rifles) find the kick of the weapon satisfying??? i mean anyone can be a "master marksman" with a lightweight gun and no kick. it the the kick that makes it more challenging and therefore means more skill....Right?

  • @6185801 By the way i have an M-24 airsoft replica which i love so i understand the fun of it. Im just saying that to some people the kick is good so make sure to give it a positive side as well and maybe people who cant legally have a gun will be more interested in air rifles

  • @6185801 i cant even raid the fridge at night after work without waking up the whole house so i cant imagine how hard stalking in real life is

  • @6185801 You make some good points, the thing with live fire rifles is the bullet leaves the barrel before the rifle kicks pretty much and doesn't affect your aim anything like a spring powered air rifle that jumps before the pellet leaves the barrel and that does affect you aim quiet a lot so the PCP or pre charged rifle is similar on accuracy to the live fire but as its nothing like as powerful you don't get the kick. Thats what I think anyway :-)

  • @cubleycat hmm i didnt think about that. Your right that a spring would have to move because otherwise the pellet wouldnt even move. oh well i still prefer live fire. at the moment though im trying to set up an HPA kit for my airsoft sniper though

  • @6185801 no m8 technically the round will have left the barrel before the kick thats newtons first law!! the skill is in taking targets that are out of range and so you have to adjust for!! and in stalking your quarry to get close enough. thats marksmanship!!!

  • @moochersretreat i dont hunt but yes from that point of view it is. i guess it really depends on if you just like long range target shooting (outside realistic hunting ranges) or if you like hunting (closer but still good distance). i completely agree that hunting requires skill far beyond just shooting and i respect all hunters for their patience and ability

  • Love your HW100 beautifull rifle umm what hand pump do you use for it ?

  • how many shots will a fill of gas on the last gun do

  • i have the Air Arms prosport, the best spring rifle money can buy. you can hit a drawing pin at 55,yards it senses to amaze me. there is a video showing the

the prosport shooting please see it on here youtube ( prosport long range shooting)

the lad doing the video is called ( SI) MUST SEE. i myself have done 100,yard

shooting with prosport ( FACT) awesome air rifle and best starting gun it will make a shooter out of you trust me. it takes a real maksman to shoot a springer.

    thamkyou.

  • @zippy5081 Yes I know it is much more of a challenge using a spring rifle, The AA prosport is a nice rifle!

  • @zippy5081 people who ave springers normally cant afford gas gnz

  • Great video. A note about CO2 guns: I've got an Umarex PPK/s CO2 pistol (uses some of the gas for blowback, so this one does have some kick to it) and made the mistake of leaving a full CO2 canister in it for a couple of weeks once (manual even said not to do that). It seemed to affect the seals temporarily so that I could hear gas leaking out of it when I put in a new canister. A few canisters with Pellgunoil on the tip run through it fixed it that time and I haven't made that mistake again.

  • Does a pcp need a lot of maintenance.. Also does break barrels need oiling etc regularly, will it damage or shorten its lifetime if you don't oil the major parts, could you make a video on how to and what to oil etc etc..

Thx in advance. Great to the point videos, without any bullsxxt..786

  • Well if you use a 22 rimfire and subsonic ammo no one will even now your there! You can pick them up for £400 and have much more fun than a pcp... Just my opinion

  • Nice video. I'm impressed

  • Great video

Do not load a break barrel AFTER cocking.....you put the pellet in and then cock unless you're holding the gun and barrel, or one day you will loose a fingertip.

  • thanks for the acepting the new vid response emma

  • i wish my local airgun shop would loan me a rifle LOL!! great vid emma! loads of good info for the new comers here

    favd

  • For power, easy maintainance, as well as very good accuracy and build quality get a hw80 or 80k

  • All that money on a air rifle wen u could buy a decent 22lr or 17 hmr for the same money! Or even a centre fire rifle under £1000... Makes me sick the price of a pcp plus the extras! Nice review though.:D

  • @Tristy1987 try shooting a powder burner in a neighborhood, it doesnt go over well.

  • Nice vid, thanks for posting it some great tips for a newbie such as me.

  • I want a air rifle :<

  • Excellent video! Good overall view of types of air rifles.

  • found this helpful thanks alot

  • What was the name of that Break barrel rifle? It looked like an smk b2 not sure if it was or not though.

  • @No1Richman yes it is a b2

  • @cubleycat Thanks, thought it was :D

  • Trying to get my Mrs into air rifle shooting, however she is very slight and has trouble using my break barrels and underleaver. Any recommendations for a cheap-mid price CO2 or PCP to get her started? Thanks, Mike.

  • @redfan1971 Hi in CO2 theres a Crosman 2260 Rabbitstopper or Sportsmarketing XS78 in PCP air arms S200 or 400. PCPs are better and you might find your self buying one too ;-)

  • hi love the review added it to my site ..delx

  • Excellent!

  • i'm sure you did a review of a 22. carbine short hw100 with the thumb stock ? i cant find it. good gun I wonder? looking to buy one this weekend....

  • Great stuff Emma. No nonsense info as always.

As others have said - stick the springers under your arm and hold the barrel/underlever ffs! And where are your protective glasses, helmet, and knee pads! :)

  • @keroxene agreed ! too pretty to get a pellet in the eye wear goggles honey !

  • i have the hw100s..simply the best pellet rifle money can buy..

  • @MrRockyslegacy I am with you all the way on that ;-)

  • @MrRockyslegacy Personally i'd give that award to my 80ft/lbs .22 Daystate Air Ranger.

  • weirauch hw97k the best

  • I have to agree with spring rifles having some kick. My Gamo has more recoil than my 10-22

  • @buddycraigg Yes its a different type of discipline that is required when shooting a springer

  • good informative video Emma as usual but I must say this for the inexperienced shooter....hold the underlever/barrel on a spring gun unless you want to lose a finger at some point

  • Remember to hold the barrel or underlever whilst loading spring powered air rifles for your own and others safety. the cheap one looks like a smk b2, and dont forget the gas rams :) Happy shooting.

  • @1Equinox1 very good point, yes its a b2. The air arms has a ratchet system to prevent it from closing on you but you never know!

  • @1Equinox1 Oh Gas ram, yes I know, thats another story, a bit hard to explain though!

  • really a nice video, very useful expecially for those that are new to our world

well done , many sincere compliments from Holland

    Fabio

  • @Fabio4408 Thank you Fabio

  • that was very informative ma'am. thank you for the information! looking forward to your future videos!

  • very useful, thanks for taking the time to share your experience

  • @topbanana188 Thanks you are welcome

  • Anyone who wants an airrifle should watch this I had to figure it out myself this is great.

  • @tnhl77 Tell me about it, thats why I know what I do and why I did the video. you spend a lot of money finding out what suits you best!

  • @cubleycat well we are glad for it thanks!

  • that pro sport is nearly silent is it like that off camera did the camera make it like that

  • @jordanrussell123 it is pretty quiet but the mic over compensates

  • Great video ,,,

  • great little guide for starters :) 5/5

  • Very nice video Emma ! The AirArms pro sport is my favorit ! (well, i am a springer freak ;-)

  • Great little intro. Many thanks! Particularly liked how you demonstrated how easy it was to work with the PCP rifles.

  • Is the last one the one u use in ur shooting vids?
