@RMGeneral It's a sandbox free-roam game, like GTA. Except it's on Mars instead of a city. You can hijack the cars that drive back and forth on the roads. Ore deposits and EDF crates are like hidden packages. The alert level is practically the same as GTA's wanted level and you're be chased by a neverending number of troops and vehicles in a huge pile up the more damage you cause until you're dead or unless you get away. For the record, GTA SA/IV had the third person camera from behind gun zoom.

I wonder how it would be if multiplayer had a Role-Player option. Like on SAMP were you can role-play a real life in San Andreas. Role-Playing a life on Mars would be bad ass. Especially when you can destroy other people's homes with your "tiny" hammer >:)

i went thru the game 3 times and i didnt see the cut scenes at 22, 35, or 116 either. now that i think about it, there was a scene at the end of the tv commercials that showed a walker throwing an edf soldier at the end of it when the game first came out...never saw that either. if they're really in the game please let me know what has to be done to unlock them. unless those scenes are exclusive to the ps3 4 some odd reason.

@xxxkingjoexxx No, you must complete all Guerilla Actions, transports, Heavy metals, ETC! I think you might also need to have 100 morale on all Sectors to see the one where you are standing on top of the hill holding your hand up! But, I think they might have cut them from both consoles! I don't know I just did a little research and thats what I found, for you. I hate when games cut shit, that gets your attention!

RFG proves to me why it's so fucking awesome favorites. One main reason. Pure, unadulterated, destruction. Definitely the most phenomenal open world sci-fi guerilla warfare eperience. This game might have a few flaws but it still is one of my all time favorites. Red Faction Rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow, i only played Guerilla, but i just watched some videos of the other red faction games and none of them have anything in common. 1st game was about the Ultor Mining co. and was like DOOM. 2nd RF theres cities, cars, even streets. but in RF 3, IUltor comes back as the Maruaders but theres no cities, no roads, prisons, none of this.. its like the RF games are just random... but fun!

This game is more a thinking mans GTA, then a sand box smash and grab. The AI is tuff and the alert system is brutal. But if you use your brain and a fist full of remote charges you can breeze through missions.

looks arcadey as hell...yet another potentially great game that will have its gameplay ruined by one factor...how fast the character can move....you play ArmA and see how realistically your character moves in that.. slow, jerky. forcing you to use cover and making it impossible to jump or fire on the move.

Left 4 Dead is only 6 hours long (really). The gameplay depth is also really shallow. I played the RF:G multiplayer and single player demon and its fantastic.

Graphics are (as to be expected in this day and age) superbly awesome and its sounds deliciously overdramatic (as it should be)

The one thing I'm concerned about it is whether an open-world, GTA-esque game dynamic is going to compliment or hurt the gameplay. I hope for everyone's sake that the map, if it is anywhere near the size of GTA IV or Farcry 2, will at least be interesting to traverse. Farcry 2 really suffered because of the sheer boredom that traveling between mission hubs created.
