  • should of folded the 92 in the first place.. its the beginning of the tournament , you've been watching to much wsop.

  • Shud of 3 barrelled m8. He checked so fast on the flop which shows he's weak so he wud only call with a draw or he wud call 1 barrel with a 6. besides 99.99% of the time ( not liturally though often) on that board an opponent will just about always have a straight draw

  • all of marty's early vids show he really used to be just another donkey

  • what are you trying to steal 45 chips for with 9 2 off suit in the first place.. is it really worth it

  • i think ur mistake was not 3 barreling more chips for u imho

  • Alright everyone lets be dramatic, marti is showing the power of position.

  • -ev ! dude fix your leaks and youl do just fine !

  • He said "I'm going to bet slightly more than half the pot " and then bets 300 into a 500+ pot???

  • well what do you think slightly more than half of 525 is?

  • @TheCodemanShow $300 is slightly over than half the pot ..

  • Marty, this goes against most of your advice.

  • Right !

  • to any decent player it couldnt be any more obvious he was bluffing. anyone who makes a continuation bet on the flop then checks on the turn and fires after consecutive checks by his opponent is bluffing most of the time

  • Yeah, that river is a horrible card to bluff. Plus he made a pair on the river which very well could be good, so he should just check... betting might get folds from 65, 55... but that's about it. Everything else either calls and wins, or we had beat w/ the riv deuce anyway

  • I agree with this. I don't know what Marty was doing here....You obviously had him beat with your bottom pair. Anybody who calls on the flop is either drawing or playing a low pair. The low pair players in these low stakes will call you down because they tend to think EVERYONE is ALWAYS bluffing. So if he had anything better than a pair of deuces he was calling. You had him beat with your low pair Marty and a check was the best play there. I'd love to hear an argument for your play though.

  • no sheet. you surrendered control of the pot/betting with ur check on the turn. You'll get called by 8J/ 7K or raised with that river bet.

  • @mufcrulz I disagree - I often check the turn just for pot control. Very usefull if you play according to the; Small hand smalle pot, big hand big pot - philosphy

  • @mufcrulz Bluffing or trapping. If his opponent's got nothing, his opponent's got nothing.
