  • I was wondering when you'd get back on this van. Good to see progress.

  • ring ding ding

  • hmmm. Where did you source that seal? I have a similar issue with my VW bus - the nose was punched in at some point and redone, and I have perpetual leaky windshield problems, as no installer can seem to get the corners to seat - apparently the opening is not true due to the body work.

  • @WESTY70 "The Glass Worker" here in PDX has 30 yrs expirience on old odd cars, he says he can seal anything. We spent a couple of hours trying all types of seals, he thought about it for over a week he says. This seal is a universal large "lace" seal where the glass is glued in. Give him a call. He like challenges. He's mobile. Very resonable.

  • @2stroketurbo 10-4 thanks I have family in PDX and STL- guess I need to schedule a VW roadtrip out west and look this guy up ;)

  • Crossing my fingers for snow tomorrow!

  • @GoliathAngelus You always can get new tires, just how much dollars, is the question.

  • That's going to be a nice looking van when you get it done. Maybe I'll get to see it driving around Portland this summer.
