I think it's sad how tha parents say "if it gets too bad you can move back in with us" and we all know that they don't mean that, they want her to learn her lesson, pay back the money etc. I'd like to think that when parents say that that they mean it - even if only to provide them some assistance and time to get a place instead of forcing them to live on the streets.
I moved out when I was 17 or 18, and I'm in my 20's now it isn't easy. but neccesary.
in my hood it would be impossible for a hot blonde to sleep in a park bench, even with all that luggage. I would loove that this place was as good as that.
That was really good! It has a great concept & coincidentally, last year, I thought of writing a screenplay with the same basic concept (20-something girl gets kicked out of her home & has to find who she is). Mine's different in that she moves in with & has guidance from a relative & other stuff (I'm trying to do feature length or at least a half hour) but it's neat how different people can have the same basic story/movie idea ;) I haven't written it yet but plan to work on it soon.
she clearly doesnt even have a job..and for ppl who go nowhere in their lives their families have to do wat they think is right to help her wake up and get a hold of herself.one cant be useless forever.
thx god for good parents that i have. They never let me feel awful 4 not making money after college "directly" atleast.. yes growing up is something we need to do on own and cant always hav parents by ourside cuz death is certain one day better learn to fly early.
Growing up is scary, even if you don't move away from your family. My sister had the same fate, we lived in my grandma's house, when she got in a fight with her. My grandma really hurt my sister, and she fought back throwing a punch in her face. Now she lives in her very own apartment, and she's about 27, this happenned about 5 years ago, and I'm very proud of her. I'm 20 now, and I have to think of what I'll do, I can't live with my dad forever. Plus he's an asshole.
mangohoti:1st y do u tink being a gangster is cool? Y should any1 be proud of being a gangster? ur right i m not black,n im not tryin to be 1.This is te way i m used to writin comments,coz its faster.I don't car f i m cool r not.tanx.
Well I find this strange, the fact that parents would kick their child out of the house. But I guess that's not my culture's way of living. Nonetheless, I loved the video, very touching.
But if you are really from a muslim country, you have NO right to talk about good family or good society. You should go into a corner and be ashamed of yourself forever. Its like an earthworm trying to tell me how it feels like to fly.
hey, someday you have to live your own life and be responsable by yourself in every ways.
i'm 18, and i keep livin with my parents, studying and working. they like me to live in their home, and they buy my food and pay the home bills, but i pay everything else with my own money, and i'm trying to get a better job to buy my own appartment.
Well I left home at 18 but not forced. My parents supported me throughout my studies and my first days of work so I can get a hang of living on my own. It's like starting school all over again. Parents play a good role in it too. I have examples of people living with their parents and they are 40 Years old. The only outcome is sickness. Let your kids flow to the society normally and without force. That's my opinion. It's like small birds leaving the nest. It's only natural.
"i m payin ur bils";wat a culture! tey don't even accept their own child! its good tat every1 should stand on his own feet,bt do u ppl realy throw tem out lik tat?Hw can u do tat?
What? What a culture? Are you kidding? These is America. It's one of the best countries in the world. How can you imply something along the lines of a harsh society? Have you never seen the Constitution of the United States? They get thrown out for not showing the responsibilities shown to them throughout their life starting at age 5. It's not like you leave them with nothing. It's 12 years of school. Learn to spell, too.

You're not listening, Deewanagan. This is America. IT HAS BEEN GRADUAL. As I said, so gradual it's been from the age of 5 to 18. I don't know how much longer you can stretch that out. It took me like a fucking hour to read your comments. Spell right, you dumbass.

Wow I love it. It protrayed a beautiful story, and I wonder what her mother would have done if she knew her daughter spent the night on a bench instead of in a hotel.
That happens a lot. Children thrown away before they have grown uo. Sad.

doesn't the home belong to the family?
then why're you kicking your family out of your home?
over here people don't move out until they get married or if they make it big in their careers.
