@unzenzile - Actually Te Vaka are from different Islands of Polynesia : Western Samoa , Tokelau and Tuavalu . Te Vaka was founded by Opetaia Foa'i ( Samoan born Tokelau/Tuvaluan ) in Auckland , New Zealand in 1995 . These guys travel the world and popular . This song they sining in the Tokelau language .
I am American and I don't understand 1 word but i STILL LOVE IT! Some polynesian students sang this for culture night at our college and it's been stuck in my head ever since!!!!
white boy from tampa florida here! this music ROX! the drumming is epic, and the girls harmonies are perfect! this should be used to promote tourism as it surely makes you want to go there and experience this culture for yourself!
