  • I love this but some of lyrics piss me off. Like at 1:36 and 2:47 it might seem like a legit place but that sounds like slave labor to me.

    The lyrics are about having a revelation 1 on 1 with a lady massage therapist ...as a lady...

    The lyrics: When she talks about the girl in question meeting a boy and falling in love but she "feels free to walk on his back"... you can put together what type of sexuality the song is about. Just read between the lines a bit to understand it's actual meaning. I'm a straight male and although this style is not my first pick, still the song is unforgettable. Excellent Production by Don Was.

    She is just is saying it as in "what would they do without me around here....". Song is about becoming a lesbian if u really want to know. I'm a straight male... and although this particular style isnt my very first pick, still it's an unforgettable song. Great production by Don Was. As well, ya just can't get it out of your head...

  • Thank you. Across her consistent career, Aimee Mann is peerless, but this one song by Sobule, just one, does get close to the great Aimee Mann's standard. Check out the latter's husband, by the way, on the David Letterman show singing 'This and That'. It's superb.
