@Shunpo, the movie was "The Pit and the Pendulum". When I was growing up, Uncle Vinney as he was called in my house, was the horror master of his day. We called him Uncle Vinney because we shared the same last name and the same actual family tree "roots" in Wales.
I met Vincent Price at a job in Beverly Hills,CA. A girlfriend of mine Laura Wright had just had a son When VP walked up I thought this guy is probably going to be weird. Not at all he was very polite and extremly cheerful. So I got up the nerve to ask VP if he would please give me an autograph for Laura explaing to him she had just named her son in his honor. VP took a step back and raised his hands in the air and said "It's not my kid I swear" What a funny talented man he was! CLASS
Excellent mash up of Vincent Price movies. He ruled. I have most of his movies scattered among my dvd's and vhs'. Great late night movies to watch while you are winding down before you go to bed. He was probably the last of the great horror icons and possibly (and i only say possibly so dont kill me for this comment) the best. His Shakespearean background is evident and made even the worst of the b-movies he did absolutely worth seeing for his performance alone. Thanks for the upload.
i love vincet price. i would like some seggestions on his movies i would like more. i have seen house of wax, the great mouse detice and the fall the house of usher ty
@springmist775 The Pit and The Pendulum has always been one of my favorites. Also check out Dr. Phibes! Another one of my favorites is The Mad Magician, but its a little tricky to find. All of his movies are such great fun, I suggest getting a list on IMDB and checking them all off one by one!! :-D
@phantomwolf88 Vincent Price starred in the 1959 remake of "The Bat" from 1926 which is the inspiration for Batman, played Eggman on the 1960's Batman tv show, and appeared in Tim Burton's Edward Scissorhands. Wow, I just linked The Bat, the 1960's Batman tv show, and Tim Burton's Batman just by using Vincent Price.
@phantomwolf88 It's notable to note that Vincent Price played "Dr. Malcom Wells" in the 1959 remake of "The Bat" from 1926 which is the inspiration for Batman, who played Egghead on the 1960's Batman tv show and later in 1990 played "The Inventor" in Edward Scissorhands by Tim Burton. Wow, I just linked The Bat, The 1960's Batman tv show, and Tim Burton's Batman just by using Vincent Price.
I have been watching Vincent Price movies since the 60's. Last night I watched The Raven, Have to say that Price was at his best in that movie. It showed a sweet comical side of him & I love the fact he played w/2 other classic greats Boris Karloff & Peter Lorre. You made a great Tribute to Vince. Thank you.
I was invited to the set of Sonny and Cher show. Vincent was a guest that day. He saw me sitting in the bleacher like seats and went out a side door and came up behind me and did that laugh. Scared the crap out of me when I looked back and saw him looking down at me with a huge grin. It was one of the greatest moments of my life. He was a great man.
This is a fantastic tribute video to a truly remarkable person!!!!! Great work on putting this video together, and you picked such a perfect song!!!! Vincent Price will always be a Hollywood Legend!!!! Thanks for posting
Thank you for this Video. Vincent Price is in the top 10 list of the greatest actors of all time. In his acting He showed strength, bravery, and then he could show how mortal and humbled men could be when faced by death and horror. Very few actors or actresses can pull this off today. Even when playing villains he showed the Evilness but with a vulnerability to the characters he portrayed. Hollywood will never see another actor with this class.
I wish I had been able to get the full version of the tribute a local station showed just before they presented Theater of Blood as it has a little checkerboard made up of him in EVERY horror role he ever starred in.
There will never be another Vincent Price-- team him with Edgar allen Poe and you have the best combo-- Love this site --- brings back memories, I grew up on Price
Damn right! Price is fucking awesome! He's rocking that afro... Okay that's probably the only bad thing about V.P., the afro.. That, and the fact that he's dead. He died when I was too young to see him in his macabre-princly charm.
Great video man!!! Price is probably one of the most charming actors of all time. No horror flicks today can turn out such magnificent characters as the ones he played.
Can someone tell me what Price flick is at 5:25, it looks like a Dr. Phibes sequel. Also if anyone knows the name of the later film where Price seeks revenge on his critics. Could they please tell me?

Bow before his Lordship, Vincent Price! He was a god amoungst men. I am much pleased with this video. I've actually seen a majority of the films used in this video. I'm reminded to go movie hunting again.

Bow before his Lordship, Vincent Price! He was a god amoungst men. I am much pleased with this video. I've actually seen a majority of the films used in this video. I'm reminded to go movie hunting again.

I always thought that, while he was suitably creepy, he was always a handsome man. ^_^ This is very good!

Excellent...I am a big fan of Price and you included almost all of his horror films. Thanks for adding his distinct voice and creepy laugh; it is priceless!
