I respect the courage of our troops who joined the fight to protect our country, but the past 20 years of war has done NOTHING about our safety. Destroying one terrorist sect while also destroying entire countries will only motivate more terrorists.

It will always be possible for some poor, disturbed youth to make some pipe bombs, but how often has this happened? Is it really worth the money and lives going the way we are now? What if we were a peaceful, tolerant nation? Wouldn't there be less reason to act against us?
