  • haha WOW. This is in Center, Texas. About 15 minutes from my house. This bank was actually torn down after this incident and moved across town. This is still funny when I see it though! I go through that town nearly every day xD

  • Yeah... it's the roof's fault the guy is a moron. lol

  • Texas. Yay.

  • lol. We live full time in our camper. That is the exact one we have Keystone Everest.

  • wow that was cool.. come to my bank next. .wells fargo

  • some people simply should not build anything... that is the truth, lack of engineering potential...

A roof that big and heavy with two columns ? come on!! ahaha... Wood houses in tornado areas ? Ground level houses in under sea level areas ? come on ahaha

I even saw an electric stair made of wood in England... it set on fire of course... and they did a documentary explaining why!!! it was hillarious !!!

  • 3 ways you shouldn't think about when stealing an oil tanker. Number 1: stealing a tanker and driving it under the bank roof.

  • Dodge trucks=the strongest out

  • I guess they were making a... withdrawal?

  • @Zebrails YEAHHHHHHHHHHH!!

  • awsome channel!

  • Terrible engineering. Certainly, even a tornado would have blown it away. It wasn't even stronger than the tow-hitch itself . Or the camper's roof was stronger...either way.. the truck came to a stop and the roof toppled over on it's own weight.

  • The dude lived!!! He got unbuckled and moved to the passenger seat!!!

  • i feel bad 4 the dude

  • No Video It Says

  • LOLOL fale.

  • FAIL on spelling fail. fag.

  • @snnacho uhh *fail.....haha

  • The guy was fine. The bank sued the people who build that because if you look close you can see that there is no steal support in the whole thing. I know this for a fact because my step-dad posted this. he got it from a old friend who is a teller at the bank. OkieBryan is my step-dad look up his profile find his video fo this and see that it was the very first one.

  • it wouldn't have mattered if there was steel in that column or not. You'd need a solid steel beam buried 10 feet underground to withstand a force like that. Or some serious rigging of the roof to the beam.

  • It wont take 6 feet of steel beam. Just proper engineering and a few iron rods instead of NOTHING.

  • It wouldn't have mattered if there was steel in that column or not. You'd need a solid steel beam counter-sunk into concrete in the bottom to prevent lateral movement on the ground, and some serious cross bracing up top to stop an impulse of that magnitude applied to the roof of the structure. We're talking easily twice the cost of the structure now. The roof was engineered just fine. They never intended it to be retard proof.

  • i think you hit the nail on the head. most roof designers dont count on people crashing into them.

  • and the Darwin Award goes to...

  • how could you make that roof fall so easly just blow and it would fall

  • I could blow on that thing and it would fall over....

  • this happend in my town

  • i wouldnt thikn he was alive.

    what town i sthat?

  • I think it was built good enough. I think the flaw is in the design and engineering...thats right, architects and engineers are not always the brightest people they would have you believe

  • What a piece of crap construction.

It was a damn good thing nobody else was under there.

  • hey shutup, my pa made that structure with his bare hands.

  • really?

  • yeh he got his hands off a bear

  • jajaj no mames

  • I first saw this clip shown on UK television, I cant believe the driver wasnt hurt! looks like he had no time to get out, makes you wonder if it is a set up. But a good vid either way!

  • hahaha, i live in the town this happened in center, texas. I drove past the bank a hour or so after this happened. Somehow he and his son crawled out un harmed.

  • THATS INSANE! It looked almost on purpose! How could someone be that stupid?! Good Job Buddy! Oh, and whoever built that roof, I hope you never build anything again! Why in the world would you build a roof that can hardly hold itself up?!?!

  • @best17driver When engineers design a roof or structure in general they design it to withstand forces from many different directions and create margins or factors of safety. In certain areas they take into account snow weighting. The engineers did nothing wrong. The structure wasn't designed to take a massive horizontal load like that and if they did design it to take a horizontal load of such nature the costs could rise substantially.

  • @vampov that roof was unnecessarily big and heavy... they should not have build that in first place even if they did it "the right" way

  • @best17driver

Those roofs are made for vertical stability only. They are NOT meant to carry any horizontal weight.

  • @best17driver well seeing as a roof isnt designed for sideways load and no were near that amount. its the drivers fault.

  • wow! this new video!

  • By the way-Directed to BigDiesel 85...this was not a blonde that did this but a MAN that was going to get the papers signed on this trailer that he just bought!

  • his video is freakin everywhere

  • Epic fail on the part of the driver and epic fail for the construction of the overhang.

A strong gust of wind could have fetched that down never mind that little knock.

  • dead or alive??

  • alive

  • i dont think he was alive

this looks like an american pick up truck.

    would be LEFT hand DRIVE.

the door never opend for anyone to get out...

  • Or you could, you know, click on related videos and see that the roof never even landed on the cab. Dipshit.

  • ic ic

  • it did land on the truck

  • I promise you he is alive this happened in Texas it was on the news and he and the passenger both survived.

  • @SilentWulfIsCool That's what I'm wondering is the guy alive look at the truck it flattens like a pancake. Scary stuff.

  • Haha just saw this on the news over here (New Zealand). Funny shit.

  • SIXTH!

  • lol priceless.

  • This epitomizes all those pictures you see with the "FAIL" caption

  • Damn!!! I heard he made it out, but I see no way!!

  • thats messed up

  • I had this video posted for 4 days, with over 80,000 hits and over 200 comments. Texas State Bank claimed copyright infringement and had it taken down. Get ready!
