looks Delicious! might try it tomorrow night. I have a "tagine" that you can use on the stove without the plate. I don't have a plate yet to use my normal tagines on. Can't wait to try them! I think they sell heat diffuser plates on amazon. Might get one there. Thanks sousou!

Are you cooking this on gas stover or electric stove? I has gas stove with open flames? will this pot crack on flames?
FabricsNThings 1 month ago
@FabricsNThings Put the metal plate under the tagine on low heat (even if it's with flames) , it won't crack.

I was wondering where did you buy your TAGIN and can I use the metal plate on a gas stove I'm afraid for the Tagin to break with the heat????
Love2TravelAway 9 months ago
@Love2TravelAway I bought all my tagines from Morocco. You need to use the metal plate (it's a must), so it doesn't break.

thats it! i am picking up my tagine today! :)

ou je peut trouver une tajine svp ????
kalfass 1 year ago
@kalfass Au Maroc ou à l'internet (trop cher).
Mais toutes mes recettes réalisées dans un tajine, tu peux les préparer dans une marmite normal, tu n'as pas besoin de tajine si tu n'as pas.

You can use any other kind of meat, only don't forget that the time it takes to cook will change.

My sister bought me a tagine when she went to Marocco with her husband. I have never cook with a tagine before so I have a few questions.
1. I heard that you have to soak a tagine in water overnight, true?
2. use open flame stove instead of electric stove.

If you don't have a metal plate, you can also use metal separaters (like long folds of wires that fit onto the stove tops).

Tu peux cuir le Tajine sur une température moyenne considérant qu'il brùle vite sur une température élevée çàd entre 1 et 2 .
Si tu as envie de préparer d'autres Tajines , tu n'as qu'à me le dire .Bonne chance !!
