Cows are in no danger of going extinct like whales. As for traditional whaling such as by inuit that's ok but commercial whaling just puts too much pressure on them they don't reproduce like cows.

For Caribbeans, sea foods, including whales, is important source of protein.

Cows are in no danger of going extinct like whales. As for traditional whaling such as by inuit that's ok but commercial whaling just puts too much pressure on them they don't reproduce like cows.
We nearly lost 2/3rds of the whale species during the 60s.
If you want to hunt whales I say you should use an open long boat and spear like the inuit and no factory ships and harpoon gun.

I have been to a slaughter house & I have witnessed first hand how cattle are killed. No it wasnt nice but it was QUICK! They are shot in the head & die instantly.
Whales are harpooned in the guts or back with explosives. They are also electrocuted. Becasue of their size it can take up to an HOUR to die. They suffer greatly. Many harpoons fail kill the animal leaving horrendeous wounds. Many whales are dragged onto the ship by the harpoon lines still alive. There is no humane way to kill Whales
