Wouldn't you instantly be aware that a wrong was committed? As for religion providing the solution to sin, that's not entirely true because there are religions that harm people, and that's no solution to anything. No one ever died for your sins other than Jesus, and that's not a religion, that's a gift.

In the summer of 1984, I took my girlfriend's best friend to his concert (since my girlfriend had to work). I locked the keys and tickets in the car in downtown Minneapolis and missed half the concert!
I remember seeing him in conert in St. Louis, MO in the early 80's. Wow! This brings back some actually good memories from my childhood! He was so cool when we met him!
