Whats the point in this vieo? Part of the reason Spacey was cast in this film was to break out of his typecast 'bad guy' association. Lester Burnham could not be any different to Jonh Doe.

This is a fantastic piece of editing. One of the finest recut trailers I've ever seen - you did such an awesome job. Had I never seen 'American Beauty' or heard anything bout it before, there would be no reason to doubt this was genuine.

The ending in particular is very chilling - awesome use of music and you've edited the well selected scenes very well!

Kevin Spacey's character in this movie is having a mid-life meltdown and his character in Se7en is a psychotic serial killer...no, I don't see the marriage of those two in this "Dark Version" trailer. It's a silly premise.
