The entire title in the German is "Das Musical Elisabeth - Die wahre Geschichte der Sissi" but "Elisabeth" should do just fine!!

WOW, echt cool! Toll zusammengeschnitten! Der Prolog ist sowieso das beste am ganzen Stück ;-) Der Übergang vom Richter zu Lucheni war echt gut, man merkt gar nicht, dass da eigentlich noch 'n ganzer Teil dazwischen kommt (Flüche inklusive xD). Und die Bilderauswahl war auch gut. Echt gut gemacht! Respekt!

They could easily use it as a promo.

Personally I prefer Harry Kupfer's version from 2005 (the one we've seen here^^) to the others... altough they're all amazing!

It's just that I'm a huge Serkan Kaya (Luigi Lucheni) fan. He's incredible....

But one fact about this adorable musical is, that it's beeing produced in so many different ways. So there's something for everybody :)

I absolutely adore this! You did such a good job with editing all the scenes and moments together to make the words fit in the beginning, and this is the first time I have found "Wenn Ich Tanzen Will" with subtitles, which made me so happy. I love this musical!! but my favorite always is the Takarazuka's version (1998 with Zunko & 2007 with Mizu)

the entire show is not on youtube. but the show is basically and opera and youtube has almost all of the major songs. All you have to do is type in "Elisabeth musical" and add whatever song from the show you want to listen to. There's one person on youtube that has almost all the songs- his has the english and japanese in the title

i know that a bunch of the songs have English subtitles... i'm not sure about French. As of having an actual production in English that is a negative. I think it's one of the only languages it's not in... thanks so much!

I don't know of anywhere in the US that sells it, unfortunately. I know what you mean about shipping prices from Europe. I've gotten 3 CDs from Sound of Music and Musical Shop. $12 shipping! Ugh!

omg thank you so much!!!! i really love this story and i'm so passionate about it. almost all of the songs from the show can be found here with subtitles. i got most of these clips from utube. i bought the DVD of this 2005 production but unfortunately it is NOT subbed- but most of the songs can be found online and they're fansubbed. i hope that helped!!! thanks so much again!!

alexandrakl has a bunch of them subtitled.... that's where i found a bunch like the prologue, wenn ich tanzen will, der latzte tanz. usually if you just type in the song and add subtitles after it they should come up..... ^_^
