in 2.5 the subdivide multi option can be accesed by hittine "w" clicking "subdivide" and then hitting "F6"

however i still cant figure out how to change colors ... i'm completely new to Blender

@neilboy4, 1mat1 is the overall color of the object, you change it the whole object changes color. If you click 'New' and change the new color to whatever color you want the path then click 'Assign', it'll change the color of whatever is highlighted. (make sure something is highlighted when you click 'Assign' or nothing will happen)

When I tried to select the squares to make the path i couldn't. When i clicked on them it just selected the square and then when i clicked on another square it moved the first square around. Please help me.

For the camera thing to work you have to push 0 (when NumLock is on) and it'll switch to camera view.

I have a problem with the game engine, when i push P it runs the engine just fine a few times, but after a bit when i push P the screen is blank. nothing shows up. when i close and restart the program and push P the engine works just fine. does anyone else have this problem? When I press "P" screen with the grid on it, when your making your model, turns to just that background gray is this a freeze up problem? can I fix it? I also have no cursor when it turns gray and happens usually after I change the view angle.

For those who couldnt get the last part going (Camera trick), its simple. Mr. Josh left out the last step which is to click 'View', click 'Camera' and press 'P' or go to 'Game' and press 'Start Game'. Hope this helps you all out.

i got a little problem in blender whenever i run game my model turns slightly clear like clear that you can see the whole sphere for his eyes and the and i want to turn backdaces on in the game because he has flag that has backfaces shown but it dissapears when i run the game do you know how to fix this.
