well he is quite well known, he has won the mercury music prize & nominated for it again i think it was last year or this year, can't really remember, and he was in live aid (which was shit, but it was for charity) so he's not unknown is he. one reason for him trying to crack u.s might be because his music might be well received over there. i wish i had this guy's skill, to be fair & im sure he'll be buzzin off as many ppl listening to his tunes & there is no bigger place than the u.s
