It's both. The anime is called Soul Eater, you can look it up here on youtube with english subtitles. I'd suggest finding one made by Callmeanonymous because she has a playist with all the episodes so far...

Oh yeah, and it's about people who kill people who's souls have been corrupted and if left alive may become Kishins which in the show are demon gods. Those people in the show attend a school called Shibusen for weapon technicians. In the show there are 3 types of people: Weapon technicians, normal people, and weapons. (yes, people turn into weapons, soul is a scythe, maka is his technician) Weapon technicians are people who weild weapons. And that's what it's about. It's really good.

I agree. Of course it's gonna happen(though, not because of Square Enix because they're just the publishers of the manga, not the author). I think it's ridiculous that some people think Shounen anime means it doesn't have romance. I mean, what about Inuyasha, Flame of Recca, Rurouni Kenshin, Love Hina, Slayers, Yu Yu Hakusho, Shakugan no Shana and several others? Just because romance isn't the main theme for fighting manga, doesn't mean it's not there. Romance isn't just for Shojo.

Romance is one way to make ANY manga more interesting and that's one of the reasons mangaka put romance in their manga.

It's kinda like something new to look forward to. Of course you will probably(in some cases)get addicted to the storyline but romance keeps you even more entranced. -shrugs- But seriously, most well written, good books and manga have "ROMANCE".
