I dont understand how you got 35 points of burn damage onto your dagger and 31 int o the bow. i used the enchanters potions that gives me 32% better enchant and at most i can only get 29 onto the dagger and the bow.

QUESTION: I'm barely level 10 and I'm a Forest Elf. I love both archery and heavy weapons (Orcish bow (enchanted with fire), arrows (150) and Steel Battleaxe). I have all elven guilded armor (light armor) and have most of my points invested in archery, sneak and two-handed. Any recommendations on my equipment? @blajablaja1 If you're going to be a sneaky character I'd recommend switching to a one handed weapon like a sword or a dagger, and putting perks into one handed instead of two handed, that way you can take advantage of the perks in sneak which allow 6x and 15x multipliers on sneak attacks with one handed weapons

@Zm0SeSHD lol thanks I've found my lovely weaponry. A glass dagger in right hand and bound bow in the other. Now I carry only 57/360 as base (no dragon stuff, gems, or anything). Also I have all ebony armor parts (except for the helmet = Clavicus Vile's)

You should of only gone the heavy armour way with smithing. You will eventually reach to dragon armor which will be your main light armour and be able to make awesome Daedric daggers.

If you have issues doing enchantments in the time an enchanting/smithing/alchemy elixir gives you, you can use the slow time shout. You can navigate the menu in realtime but the potion ticks on the in game slowed time.

My guy's major is: 1-H Weapons, Heavy Armor, Enchanting, Smithing, Lockpicking, Pickpocket, Sneak and Speech. Perk Wise: 1-H, Heavy, and Illusion. Also, why don't you use Daedric Daggers? Hearts are easy, Babette sells 2 and Fenrir sells an infinite amount.

heavy armor mage FTW! I am an imperial (they naturaly have a 5 skill bonus in heavy armor and in destruction magic, and a 10 skill bonus in healing.) I focus around getting nearly all the perks in the destruction magic tree, getting the weightless heavy armor, and getting some of the healing perks. I also get both 100 smithing and enchanting for full deadric armor + accesories, 4 of them enchanted with -25% destruction magica usage so i can infinately cast destruction magic :D.

You say that shadow warrior is not helpful, this is a HUGE mistake. Just try it. It's so freakin' awesome, just crouch in front of your opponent, then hit him. Happy sneak attack dude, and your player is epic :)

Unfortunately Sa'rennjii will never enter Sonvgarde as he is not a Nord. But when his time does come to pass, may he rest and find happiness wherever it is Khajiits go.

Also i'm kind of Mage-Thief, mainly for conjuration as I sometimes will find myself in a situation such as a failed assassination attempt and I need some back up. I find Atronachs useful in these situations depending on what kind of problem I end up having.

@XxxBawsXxx The muffle and sneaking are from enchantments you can find off of other gear. He was probably lucky and disenchanted boots with muffle and another item with sneaking, and using his lvl 100 enchanting put them both on the same boots. finding boots with muffle is rare, however. I found boots with muffle by chance in whiterun shopping at the smith lady's shop. She often has enchanted gear you can buy and disenchant when you see an enchantment you dont have memorized.

You've wasted many perks in Smithing tree. Left side is not necessary at all. You get daedric weapons from right side and also you can reach Dragon smithing without wasting perks in left side of a tree.

You realize that shadow warrior is probably the best perk for rogues/assassin's right? If you've ever played WoW, it acts as a vanish/shadow dance/shadowstep. Basically, mid-combat, you can crouch, turn invisible, attack, and get the sneak bonus multiplier. It's amazing. :D

Very helpful. I'm trying out something similar, except im trying to only use daggers and never touch a bow. Really fun so far, backstabbing entire dungeons and bosses! Except for dragons, which literally tears me up to pieces. I've not figured out how to kill them yet as of level 24 :/

hmmm... your character isnt very good, im level 41 and my bow does 322 damage, plus 31 x2 damage (fire and ice) . all my gear is aimed to give me more damage, to finish fights as fast as possible. just to say how powerfull he is, i one hit giants without sneak attack. he's also a kajiit, il do a vid of hm i think...

Why waste a skill point in fire enchanting?

The only enchantments that are worth anything to rogues are soul trap and paralyze. If you cant 1 shot it, youre going to be putting more than 25 points of damage into it to make it die anyway, so the +whatever damage enchantments are pretty much just there to look pretty. Id just rather have a chance to stick it in place. Especially if its a boss. The real ones are fortify archery/one handed, depending on your spec, and fortify sneak.

Going both sides on smithing is a bit of a waste. Daedric weapons are best, hands down. If you still want to roleplay and use light armors, dragon armors can be reached the other way too. Arcane enchanter is good for upgrading quest rewards, otherwise you might not need it. Otherwise definately a great build and no doubt, a capable character.
