Here in California's central valley, we call those June Bugs. They love light, and are always flying around the porch light when we try to enter our house in the evening. They hang onto the screen door with their barb-spiked legs, and if you hit the screen door, they hiss at you. If they land on your clothes or hair, it isn't easy to get them off. They are ugly as hell, noisy, and fly around our lights like idiots for about 2 or 3 months in the summer.

yeh, tiny? uh no. that is not tiny. actually, one of these things just flew into my head tonight when i was letting the dogs outside and flew into our house. its bigger than a half-dollar. in no way tiny at all. my cat didnt even know what to do with it. my sister was brave enough to squash it...with my shoe of course. it took several stomps to get it incapacitated. it kept squirming! ugh! i pretty much reacted just like this guy. with some added "jesus christ"'s and wtf's thrown in. UGH.
