I think its Mrs.Bryant"s demeanor according to the southern culture & the deep-seeded rules of the south, which cause her to react in that manner, but still gives no excuse for the death of a fourteen old year boy which she is in deed responsible for,no one should have to pay for something is so profound with their life,I imagine Mrs.Bryant will have so many crosses to bare that the kingdom of heaven seem like a thousand miles away from her.
Carolyn Bryant will give in account for what she did. He was 14, I mean come on now, it wasn't that serious. No human being, let me rephrase that, no living creature deserves what Emmit Tills went threw. Let alone a child.... A child, (tears) Umm, these ppl will have to face God almighty for what they did to this baby.
@kikisweetipie I agree but Mrs Bryant should have been charged and convicted with her husband and brother in law back in 55,and all 3 should have been executed for this crime.Yes her to- she was the cause of the death? Why cause a 14 year old boy whistled at her.Who the hell is she?Take a boys life for an innocent whistle, because he was Black? No justice was ever done in this case,Mrs Bryant is still alive and should be in jail or executed still today for this crime, harsh yes but i believe so.
@winterwinds2 I totally agree, I mean there has been soooo many boys whistle at me from both white n black race, n some boys even do more than a whistle, some will howl n some may say something nasty, but still all I do is smile an go on, and yes your right who in God's name do she think she is.... Ummm, nobody but a human being like the rest of us, n dont worry she will have to face God for her actions, I not judging her soul but she will face God one day. We all will
Carolyn Bryant is JUST AS GUILTY as those two red-neck son of a bitch bastards. She should be brought to trial & sentenced to life in prison when convicted.
Through research Beauchamp would have found that there was a black man who cleaned the back of the truck where the childs blood was. Two white men were the guilty parties but no one else was directly involved. Since the two murderers are in their own graves, any others cannot be tries as they were not present when this malicious act had taken place. We would like to have someone pay for this but there is no one left to blame. Many crimes go unpunnished, unfortunately, this one has taken to long.
@muffin466 They must be looking in the mirror. Don't waste your energy being upset by them. They deserve pity for their ignorance. Sad people thinking like this
I was 9 years old and Till and I attended the same school. I do remember seeing him at the assemblies, but did not know him that well. When Mamie Till brought his body back for Chicago and all the world to see, I remember asking Mother if Mississippi was in America. Years later, when I was a teenager, I lived through the murder of President Kennedy. This time I didn't ask if Texas was in America. I knew more about geography and and still more about human nature by then. Jo

my family was forced out of mississippi and walked the trail of tears to oklahoma. we have been here ever since then. ive never been there myself but always wanted to go back and see what used to be my families land. godbless.
today no one pays attention to any one whislin to any one any more, its like a mating /friendship game today. 2010. but the guys who killed emmet. should have been killed also.. bas tard s.
I don't get it, why didn't the blacks leave all the fucking southern states? They should have just mass migrated to the northern states and overpopulate them, that would have made Eisenhower lift his sorry ass from his chair and do something about the segregation.
@mcmlxvi because the total control and systematic breaking of the people left them at the mercy of lucifer's mentality, a mentality that surrenders everything even the mind and secret will 2 do better for self.READ ON WILLIE LYNCH and u will see how powerful we are. they work every day for the sake of making u doubt your identity.THAT IS THEIR ONLY ATTACK.THE SAME ATTACK LUCIFER USED ON JESUS,THEY TRY 2 ATTACK YOUR IDENTITY if u know who u r they cant hurt u.emmit coulda flipped on them but no
that's the first time I've seen a program where they blurred his face out. I don't blame them...those pictures still send shivers down my spine when i see them.
@jorianhudson29 yeah i agree with you on that, i read a book about this and he didn't even do that shit, he was just whistling because he had a sttuder i read it in the book about him when his friends asked how she looked, he whistled at them not her, she'll never be able to live with that shit till she confesses the truth
@jorianhudson29 Never mind that means she is still awaiting her sentence in front of the ultimate judge, jesus christ. Her time will come for her not so innocent part in this whole thing. She is as bad as her husband and will meet him in the depths of hell
