  • Even if it is a "hoax" I'd like to find out for myself. So many people think they know everything, and then suddenly stop talking when they find differently.

  • Its actually very interesting history when you learn about it! Its not just some random spot with a whole bunch of optical illusions. But when you go there you do feel the 'energy' stuff. I very much enjoyed my trip there! and recromend it to everyone.

Btw the broom standing up isnt actually due o the fortex but the lady can just make brooms do that haha! but that its standing at an angle says something!

I encourage everyone to if you have the oppertunity to see it for your selfs!

  • at first glance i thought there was something to the "Oregon vortex" but there seems to be spots like this all over the country from New York to California sounds like an elaborate tourist trap to me. i should make a "vortex in my neighborhood and charge the hicks $ to see it i could use the $ lol

  • Who knows for sure, it could be a vortex, definetly not magic but still, no one can say that it isnt becuase the laws of gravity are made up by man, there just observations, really how much do we know about gravity, why cant it fluctuate like that? explain why this isnt possible then tell me how you where able to gain all the knowledge in the universe? less then 500 years ago every one thought the world was flat, what will we know in the next 100 years?

  • @Green420God Actually, people have known that the Earth is round since about 300 BC. It's a common misconception that people thought it was flat.

But I agree that our observations of gravity aren't perfect. We hardly understand it, and it has some weird exceptions.

  • @OiTabemashou I recommend that you view some Navigational Charts, either aeronautical or marine. You will find that gravitational irregularitite are not uncommon. Check out Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands of Washington State. Don't take my word for it.

  • if you actually took the tour, the do show you one optical illusion they have with a ball appearing to roll upwards. But the part with people changing height it weird. They have a brochure where they cut out all the background lines and you can actually measure the person in the picture at different heights. how do you fake that?

  • The broom is what always seems crazy to me.

  • i went there when i was 15 it was really cool but it is all an illusion

  • It's true all that stuff is all lies I went there once when is was four and I said it's an optical illusion and the guide got really mad at me but it is still cool.

  • there is no vortex, or energy lines, or any of that garbage. just a bunch of real cool optical illusions. i wish the owners would just say that instead of lying about magic.

  • This "house on a hill" and all its effects were recreated at Knott's Berry Farm BTW. No mystery, just illusion. Of course things look weird moving around in a house that isn't level!

  • There's really no mystery here, it's just a "house on a hill" where of course gravity isn't parallel to the walls and perpendicular to the floors. The people that run it are con artists preying on gullible people, end of story. I've been to this place, I know.

  • The tour guide is a space alien!!

  • thats so cooolll wish

    i could go there someday

  • how does that work ???

  • @dsjj251 I'm done arguing. Some people you just can't reach. I once tried to convince a Pintupi Aboriginal that electricity is not magic. I didn't win that argument either. Enjoy your world of fiction. I'll stay based in reality. However, if you want to buy some magic beans off of me I'll let you. Or even a unicorn. I promise it wont just be a horse with a horn glued to its head. And unicorns have been talked about since biblical times...so it must be real.

  • @dsjj251 did a quick (non thorough) search of mobile bay, and found no sites like this one mentioned. Every big city has a few places considered to be paranormal and legends told about them. While I don't know anything about the sites you're speaking of, I can hazard a guess that some clever entrepreneurs found sites with legends associated , built illusion sites there, and are making some nice cash from it. Regardless of other places, This one is obviously optical illusion based.

  • @nicholasjc2000 Mobile Bay has 8 different unexplained phenomenons that happen but the government hasnt seized any part of it.

  • @dsjj251 that's because they are hoaxes. It's blatantly obvious to anybody with even a shred of legitimate scientific background that these places are optical illusions. Don't take my word for it though. Go to Master Illusionist James Randi's website and under his swift blog archive look up the article from October 10, 2003. He explains in detail how these illusions are accomplished. He used to set up places like this for a living, so I'd consider him an expert. It's not letting me post urls

  • @nicholasjc2000 it has to do with exactly what is said in the video, it isnt a trick, it just happens. there are weird unexplained things that happen all across this planet that are never explained 100%

  • yeah the place is creepy lol local schools go there on trips all the time, ive been there a few times since i grew up in medford, thanks for posting, it is very strange!

  • Don't get me wrong though, this would be a fun place to visit. Kind of like a fun house or magic show. Even if it's not real it's still entertaining. So lets not insult people that go there for entertainment.

  • @nicholasjc2000 Exactly. It was just for fun and entertainment. But those who have been there will tell you there is a strange energy about the place. Many people feel it strongly. Some don't.

  • Oh...If you point out that the level shows the ground is level. Since it's a close up view, you can't tell whether that is the actual piece of ground where the other photos are taken. or it may be level in the middle but sloped on the ends. Also, do you know why scientists don't actively study this so called vortex. It's because at some point one has used an accelerometer, emf, and gaussmeter that told the scientist that gravity and electromagnetic fields were normal there.

  • A magnetometer may yield some interesting results.

  • @madskyiv You're right. Wish I had one. They're not cheap.

  • @myNEONCITY its using a slope to make the person further back look like they're as close as the front person. its hard to explain. im gonna have to give up on you. lol.

  • they must grow some great weed in Oregon

  • @myNEONCITY the brooms can easily be held up with a string. these people that come to these places are probably in on the secrets. they just wanna impress others by showing fake shit online. the rolling uphill thing can also correspond to the slanted house. meaning the house is slanted in a way that if u tilt the camera at the correct angle, it looks like its goin uphill but its actually rolling downhill. i mean this is just like magic tricks on stage. u can't believe they're real dude

  • @creamiorange please explain how people get bigger with just a few steps

  • dsfadsfsd

  • @myNEONCITY @myNEONCITY @myNEONCITY sigh facepalms*

this will have to do with the ground and how lines converges towards the horizon. like in an artist's drawing. omg myNEONCITY, may i ask how old are you? since you can't seem to figure out any of these optical illusions. Here's an example of the same kind of optical illusion with the bigger people.

  • Search up on google for "optical illusions giant" you'll see what i mean. u slow duckling

  • @myNEONCITY i was gonna send u the link but youtube won't allow me for some reason. so just search it on google images.

  • I see,... so there is no paranormal in that place eh..... it really is an optical illusion.... i see ...... thats why the house is built on slant position including the inside...... it was really built in a slant position i am sure of it......

    ok,..... NEXT...

  • Wow a mystical force indeed this is extraordinary i would love to go and visit.

  • Sort of like Confusion Hill in Leggett California.

  • Its like the Mystery Spot!

  • yea gotta love oregon

  • Stop the video at about 1:42. Look at the 2 posts, and also notice that the place where they have you stand is not level. If gravity is stronger at one end than the other, then the bubble level will not operate correctly. You would have to tilt the level down in the direction of less gravity to get it to show level. They do claim that there is a change in gravity strength there.

  • If this is true then it would just reinforce any optical illusions.

  • Even as a child I knew it was an optical illusion. When they denied it, I just explained it to the guide she argued and said 'shh be quiet' ;-)

  • @tygew how is it an optical illusion

  • @myNEONCITY and the plumb line runs paralell to her body because they're both pulled in the same direction by gravity of the earth. the plumb line isn't slanted, its the house.

  • @myNEONCITY and Neon, here's another point. Have you noticed that all these illusions are shot/recorded from the same angle everytime? Thats because it wouldn't work from a different angle.

  • i been there

  • This place is just a giant accidental optical illusion.

  • @StupidNamed how

  • its just a slant thats all inside is level at some parts and the speakers dident do anything speciual its just music

  • It looks the same as it did when I went there as a child. I would like to know more scientific information about it. I've never stopped thinking about it since I went there so very long ago.

  • agreed. that was kind of lame/weird.

  • Cool thnx for sharing :)

  • The notice was posted specifically for my friends who usually do not have the sound on their computer turned on. Sorry if you took offence. Most of my friends don't use sound.

  • oh. right.

  • i went there yesterday! it was soo awesome. the closer you get to the middle, the shorter you get. when you leave, you are the same size as before.

  • WoW! Just WoW! I kind of want to go there now.

  • i had the same tuor guide as they did.

  • Cool! :D

  • io ci credo, corrisponde ad uno dei chakra della terra

  • I never knew this existed.. I always called the part between Eugene and Portland the Vortex because their isn't anything to look at other than cows and fields. I need to check this place out!

  • Uh, it's actually between Eugene and Medford, 200+ miles S of Portland..

  • Uh, it's actually between Grants Pass and Medford.

  • @InvalidMemberAccount That's correct.

  • that is so cool! so what is the difference betweeen that and the mystery spot??

  • i cant wait untill i get to go there this summer, it looks sooooo fun

  • It's called force persective

  • I previously answered that question. See above.

  • o ya i forgot to say but there is something wierd about it too it attradcts 100% more flys nats and wasp around then ne where else

  • i went there this summer for the first time lol ive lived in medford for 10 yrs but the shit is cool weird but cool funny thing is the no fly zone above it lol

  • Still a cool video though. Just wondering how they got that broom to stand like that.

  • Is the broom a regular broom? I wonder how they got it to stand up? Anyway, I agree, if there was something really to all this it would have been heavily investigated.

  • It has been.

  • hate to take away your mystery candy but thats an optical illuition idiots... try searching Ames room...

  • I am curious as to why you have used a midi version of The Chauffeur by Duran Duran.

  • If your having trouble learning to ride a unicycle, then go there into the house of mystery and you could stay upright with no problem at all!

  • The fence in the background fools your eyes to make the guy look much bigger on the left side.

  • type in Mystery Hill, NC. Same things there.

  • Maybe this is a real freak of nature! So cool, maybe like a black hole like area, or we really are trapped inside the matrix :p

Wanna go there and unlock my psychic abilties!

  • Wow this is amazing

I'm noy from US, so any one can tell where is this place

  • Gold Hill, state Oregon. Another place like this is in Santa Cruz - California. In Europe are some places in Greece or Italy, but dunno where exactly.

  • There is no such thing as a gravity vortex. this is just a place that is on a slant, but everything looks normal.

  • Yes, different people feel different things. One of us was a little disoriented. Another got a slight headache. Another didn't feel a thing. The individual reactions were very interesting. Thanks for your comments.

  • My daughter and I really enjoyed your video! Looks like a really fun place to visit. How did you feel while you were in the vortex? Did you get dizzy? Did you feel disoriented? Thanks for sharing!! J and H

  • A scam?? I've been there and seen this myself. It's no scam.

  • We are not scrunching our bodies. We have no association with the owners of the site, just tourist on the road of life. This place is a "Power Spot" and an anomalous magnetic disturbance which is charted on Aeronautical navigation maps. Orcas Island in the San Juans Islands of Washington State has one also. Shameful? It is just a few miles from the mighty Redwood National Park which every American SHOULD see.

  • ja chce tam jechaaać!! ;>

  • Wir Oregoński...świetne miejsce!! Bardzo ciekawe

  • That is neat! I will definitely go there! Gotta see that for myself.

  • You're right, my big mistake. It is near Gold Hill, Oregon. So sorry.

  • This place is really cool, but it is near Gold Hill Oregon. Gold Bar is in Washington State
