I went for only having the FC corrupted and the other squads completely pure, I had martellus as traitor, but I still got the chaos ending. Plus with all my squads nagging at me saying that I should turn back, it was pretty hard to achieve it.

Tarkus Martellus and Cyrus are always there along with Diomedes. Avitus is the canonical traitor while Thaddeus and Vanilla Ice are in parts unknown

@xXxmodzrangerxXx the blood ravens are however canon nowadays and one of the most interesting chapters lorewise, as suggested they might be the remains of the thousand sons that were sent away from their homeworld during the horus heresy before they primarch turned to chaos, and as such remained pure. But yeah both dark angels and wolfies are kickass, but ravens arent pussies at all

@SAMagic there is no definite source saying they are, but the gathering all of all the hints about their obscure past from diferent sources, novels, games, white dwarf and no denial from gw makes it plausible.

@munguntulga It's under debate but Avitus is the Traitor and the Commander is no Heretic. The only thing in question is weither he became captian of the fourth company or just kept his rank. I'm for fully pure but he may just be normal pure.

Really dont know why they bothered with multiple endings if retribution has a canon ending for chaos rising. Wish they had it so that what happens depends on your ending (i.e your squad is the same if full good, new squad if neutral and squad now on chaos team if full corrupt) would make it seem like your choices actually mattered :/

@benkai09 Well... that would make sense, but they also stated that because Retribution will NOT be played using Games for Windows Live and thus that you will NOT be able to implement your previously completed campaigns. I think that makes our speculations pointless, because the way any of us finished the campaign will have no impact on the Retribution. Suffice to say that the traitor is either Tarkus, Avitus, Jonah or Thaddeus (I preger Tarkus as the traitor, heh).

@Dragosmart According to Wikipedia, the canonical ending isn't clear, but Captain Apollo is still alive and is the one leading the Space Marine faction in the campaign. Also, I too got the pure ending, and the betrayal of Martellus did seem likely as he basically said "You left me to die on Typhon. You didn't even try to find and rescue me! But the Chaos Space Marines did."

@Juel92 you can actually do that mission without destroying the gate if you forget to bring jumpacks. There is a staircase further along the wall that leads up to the gate control thing, it wastes time and there quite a few heretics there but it means you dont need to bring any jumpacks :)

@Juel92 Maybe you find out already but there is no need for jump packs to open the door. You can walk up the stairs from the left of the wall and open the gate :)

If you have full corruption 65%+ you get this. If you have 45% ish you get someother one that some claim to have seen. I just got hammered in the face. That I must say sucked bad for the commander.
