@lorynhorror it hurt a bit. The final cut that seperated both sides was the worst. But overall, it bled a lot, it was sore for a few days, and then it was fime. After 2 weeks, it was completely healed and i was as normal as I was ever going to be from that point on. Watch my video, "the story of my split tongue" for more detailed info. cheers.
I really really like your split tongue modification. Just out of curiousity, how is it that you are stil able to talk normally, without a lisp or anything? i would have thought that splitting your tongue would impede your speech...
@RockMusic223 You would think. It did for the first few weeks, but after a bit, my tongue adapted. now I have two tongues and talk normal. how great is that? :)
Thank you for posting this video. I'm 14 and have both of my ears pierced and am gauging them(currently at an 8g.) and am getting my lip done with snakebites and my industrial done. My mom fully supports what I'm doing with myself. She even bought me an ear strehing kit. I guess what I'm trying to say is that people shouldnt judge others because of what they like. body modifications are something that people like to do. It makes us feel good to look in the mirror and see ourselves as we want to.
@puffmama91 I totally agree with you, however, I would like to ask you to not rush body modification. I would consider waiting until you're 18 before you go any further. The only reason I say that is because when I was 16, the ideas I had for body modification differ greatly from what I want now. I was 22 when I got my first piercing. Its not a race.
Please watch my Underage Tattoo Rant, as the basic message applies to anyone practicing body modification before they're an "adult"
@brqk3n I did watch the video that you suggested. I understand your concern about me rushing and I do think you're right about it not being a race and that I don't have to rush. However I would apreciate it if you could make a piercing video because the underage tattoo video was, as the title says, about tattoos. I feel that because the video is geared towards tattoos that there might be a need for a separate video for the information about piercings that was not added. Thank you for replying.
I know I have to wait and I know if I still want one in the years to come, there will be a lot of thinking, thanks for replying that's really cool, and thanks for caring, I think when it comes time I will still want it though, I've wanted one for years already and have only gotten more intrest in one. Btw how much did it hurt, just out of curiosity?
oh it hurt a lot. i've never been stabbed or shot before, so i don't really have any comparison to other types of pain, but it hurt. I wouldn't want to have that feeling in my mouth all the time, lets put it that way.
heh.
but on a scale of 1 to 10, ten being the most painful, i donno, 7ish? 8ish? it hurt as much as my nipple piercings hurt. but that hurt me a lot, or so i think.
yes i argee with what u say 100% i have my ears streched my septum at a 14 and snake bite some people dont get my i like these things and its because it makes me happy and its how i feel my true self should look
It's very interesting to see the reasoning behind your tattoos. I love that you have a point to them, and you aren't just doing random tattoos on you.
I've been considering getting my tongue split for awhile. my question is how much did it Hurt?

Omg I want a split tonge so much, but I'm only 14 so I have some time to wait still, great vid lovin it
Fishygillz713 2 years ago
yes, please wait. especially on permanent modifications. You have your whole life ahead of you. :)
And everyone should keep in mind that i was 25 or 26 when i had this procedure done. Pls do not rush.
Thanks :)

@Fishygillz713 Do not do it. Do we know what happens to people with split tongues when they get older?
Twinsfan28 1 year ago
@Twinsfan28 Oh, your head will spontaneously combust when you reach 72 years of age. I don't mind, i'll be old by then.
Yeah... uhm, nothing is going to happen. I'll be old and i'll have a split tongue. That's what will happen.
