well as we all know scorps are still metal legends...savage amusement was a pure hard rock album..and still awsome , of course it was friendly to radio and inspired by the american-80's-classic commercial metal period...they were at the zenith of their carreer....and as i said before it is a policed album...rock but very commercial one..anyway hail to the almighty scorps!

I grew up listening to the scorpions since i was a child. I was 15 years old when i told my dad how great it would be to go see them perform in concert.

Now I'm 18 and so blessed to have seen them 3 times!!!

LET ME TELL YOU!!! Best fucking days of my live but even if i did see them perform, I'm just grateful overall to have even known their music and discover such amazing talent from these guys.

These guys rock and like the comment below I agree!....Their new stuff is so in line with the Bible;Rev remarks about the Scorpion in several references and yes the badboy rockers and partiers etc,I wouldn't wanna change peoples view of that image,but these guys have a people compassion and a compassion for life and they rock just straight forward and great lyrics!.....Always loved them live,albums they just damn rock!

anyone who does not appreciate the voice of klaus and guitar of rudolphy and matthias does not know anything about good music. these guys are legends. just as good if not better than zepplin, stones, doors etc. not to mention they are nice clean guys who contribute a lot to society and humanity

I understand peoples arguments. What I would say is, the best to me is Blackout, followed by Love at first sting, Animal magnetism then Lovedrive etc.... Doesn't matter how many copies sold. Up the Irons, Scorps, Priest, and so on. Chris.

Actually, I would have thought the albums would be different. You seem to be excluding everything earlier than their 70's. Taken By Force was an amazing album, Tokyo Tapes, live, being another. I do admit though, Blackout is an incredible of an album. I still love my Virgin Killer and Fly To The Rainbow too...

LoveDrive gets the top spot & Fly to the Rainbow is a close 2nd with Animal Magnitism coming in 3rd. All their albums have excellent songs & yes even Eye II Eye has some great tunes you just need to give it a chance

The record for each band that sells the most is Usually the one with the best songs on it.This applies to most types of music.Black sabbath(paranoid) was their best selling album at the end of the 70's....again it has all the best songs on it.

@Sokram1987 absolutely 110% i like this just as much as when MSG and UJR...i absolutely love this album, for 88' i think, past the rock you like a hurricane era, it is simply amazing, i love klaus' vocals and rudolph's writing...even though matthias jabs was lead, rudolph wrote it all...and i think i like him more than his brother michael...this album really hit me when i heard it and it (to me) is recognized as one of the best albums ever written,recorded, produced and edited...
