People will hire someone that is prettier over someone that is more attractive because it makes their company look better. The attractive people get asked out more. Examples could go on forever. I'm just saying that in my case, the things that make my life complicated are related to things that aren't related to my physical appearance.

@treegraph The major complications are things that have to do with my mother's health and family troubles. Are these two things related to how I look? I don't believe so. You could also argue that, since beauty is subjective, the influence your appearance has on how you perceive the world is how your perceive your own appearance. If someone is rather plain but is confident then they will most likely go farther in life than the super model who hates how she looks. Just sayin' bro.
