@58trainwreck They haven't been very willing to stand in the spotlight, but also said that no one within the family EVER said it was a hoax. One of the kids (George?) said he would create a website and share his version of what happened, but no one really knows if this will happen or not.

@samwithaplan I have never read or seen any interview or anything at all with the kids in it; the kids were Chris, Danny and Missy by the way; I wonder if Danny(the oldest one) will ever do that website?

@dingleberrytoejam, i dont think so. they did tell their story to that writer, but they didn't sign when the contract came, later there was the book and the movies but they didn't earn any money with it, that's what i saw in The Real Amityville Horror

i beleive this can happen since i grew up in a house where there was alot of unexpained things that occured there
of the supernatural kind the house was also built on indian tribal ground and my grandfather who buit the house died there
people who had no idea what was going on inside the house also claimed they expierenced and seen weird things
so trust me it can happen

I'm pretty sure at one time he or someone else had the whole thing up but HC probably made them take it down. This program is available on home video (dvd actually) but what I would really like to see is HC release an edited-together version of the 6 or so hours that they interviewed the Lutz's. Now THAT would be an Ocean Avenue buff's dream!
