I never cared for Ron Paul's social views, but what's important is what he would do for the economy. We're not going to let him get away with illegalizing abortion, with implementing racist legislation, so on. However, I don't think he's infallible. Ron Paul could be wrong about his whole gold standard idea, he could be wrong about reducing the government, but I'd vote for him over any other Republican.

Since well before those newsletters (which have been found to be authored by someone else) were published Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate to point out and oppose the drug laws for being racist against blacks. Additionally, ONLY Ron Paul would save perhaps hundreds of thousands of innocent lives by ending these murderous foreign wars. I never cared for Ron Paul's social views, but what's important is what he would do for the economy. We're not going to let him get away with illegalizing abortion, with implementing racist legislation, so on. However, I don't think he's infallible. Ron Paul could be wrong about his whole gold standard idea, he could be wrong about reducing the government, but I'd vote for him over any other Republican.

GMU Economist Walter Williams & TX NAACP Director Nelson Lender. I watched one of the videos with Wright speaking, and I think his biggest "crime" was that he said things many people don't like to hear. Maybe there was just too much truth in some of what he said. It is certainly not that big of a matter to me. I find many other good reasons not to support O.
If the content of those newsletter were a reflection of what Ron Paul believed, it would be very disturbing to me.
