    I'm so glad ☺ Congrats, you're gonna ♥ it!

  • hey! i just signed up today, have you ever had a home party? what did u do, if so?

  • @m33gzz

Yes, I've had a few. I followed the training to the letter & we had fun playing the games. My first one started out super whack cuz I was nervous...I only sold around $40 but by the end of it the nerves were gone. I don't do it as often as I should but they can be fun. Look some up on here to see. ☺

  • Girl i just signed up to today and my lead didn't tell me nothin like what you told me. Girl thank you so much for the inspiration and being blunt about everything. I will in fact watch more of your videos. You're Great! And you look nice with your office attire on.

  • thanks so much for the video girl! <3 I started selling a couple campaigns ago. Thats great to know abou the taxes.. woot! I have already put a lot into brochures.. and all, samples, etc. Are you on facebook?

  • @CrystalActivation

Yw, ty 4 watching ☺ My name on facebook is TheS ophistiquette (lol). But be ye forewarned...my fb is hella lame, I rarely post ☺ God bless & take care

  • Hey love the vid but my fear is I'll pay out more than I'll make like on bags, books, and testers let me know

  • @conakryfanta "Whether you think you can or cannot you are correct" -Henry Ford. It's just a matter of self control. Don't even buy a set of brochures to start, u should get at least one from the person who signs u up. Take it from house to house with you & write everyone's order down. The next one will come with their order- don't buy a set til you have enough customers to cover the cost. One medium set of bags will last a while til u get going good, etc.

  • Thanks for the video. I feel like I relate to your style and personality more then most of the Avon reps I've encountered so I'm feeling more confident about becoming a rep.

  • @angelhatesyou75217

Thanks, I wish you all the best and I'm sure you're gonna ♥ it!

  • I made some of the same mistakes. I get free calendars (from everywhere) and get my new reps a "purse-sized" notebook. I tell 'em these things right up front lol...because if they want to make money they're going to have to write everything down. Anytime you mess up, you have to learn from it. ;)

  • @MunnyMakr

That is the truth! Thanks for watching ☺ God bless u & ur business.

  • lol, " this is your avon lady peace out!" you are cool and unique i love your style!, i am an avon representative and doing well but geesss my hats off to u :-)

  • @sonbeky

lol, thank you! God bless you and much success to you, Doll! ☺

  • Chavela girl you had me in stitches! I've been an AVON Rep for about six years now and if I saw your video when I signed up I'm sure I would have been much further in my business. I'm saving this video and sharing it with my new recruits. You're the truth and I love how you're just straight up with it. Keep up the good works! Wishing you continued success in your business!

  • @TheNaynay779

Thanks so much, God bless u & I wish u much success in 2012 and beyond! ☺

  • Oh. my. God. You just told my story right down to the no internet and getting high on my own supply! Lol. Wow thank you for making this! You gave me motivation for today:)

  • @1023lauren

LOL, ur welcome, thanks for watching, God bless you! ☺

  • I`m a straight male Avon rep and probably the only one in Liverpool,England and i`m making money:)

  • @FeignofCordor

    Super cool! ☺

  • @TheSophistiquette

It is but i`ll tell you its difficult when a man answers the door and I have to tell him i`m a AVON rep lol

  • @FeignofCordor LOL, I would love to have men on my team when I enter leadership!

  • Hi I loved your video, my last comment didn't post but watching it makes me want to keep going so thanks

  • @POOHLUVIN

You're so welcome! Thanks for watching-sometimes I don't even get comments OR channel comments until a month later, I have written YouTube about this-sorry about that ☺

  • Omg, I think you're my new fave Avon lady! You are hilarious. Please do more videos! I just joined Avon *again* for the 3rd time. I am determined to make it work this time :)

  • @cancerouscandy

Thanks Lil Mama! I believe you can do it! ☺ God bless & take care ♥

  • This video is very helpful, actually the most helpful I've seen. Thank you very much! I do have a question about setting up your table. Where do you set up? What products do you have on your table? I like the idea but am hazy on the particulars. Thanks again!

  • @Lordismyportion

    Yw & Ty!

I set up in high traffic areas, usually a corner spot where there are other street vendors. The things I take out include: tons of samples (of lipstick and the fragrances I'm going to be selling that day), contact cards, my business cards ofcourse, whole fragrance sets (I bundle and bag with ribbons), whichever the latest featured gadget is I take that as well, a lil makeup and plenty of Skin so Soft.

Test out ur own area to get a feel for what ppl there want ☺

  • love the video, this is the motivation i need myself, thank you so much, this is my 7th campaign and i am trying to make a success by leaving business cards in bathroom stalls and stores and i have customers at my daughter's school,How do you tell irs about your business though i am confused because i thought avon lets them know after you reach a certain amount.

  • @brandirep78

Hi, thanks & congrats ☺ I went through my local Small Business Association. Try sba.gov

You only receive a form from the government after you sell $5, 000.00 which most ppl don't do in their first year. See the attached tax vid ☺

  • Love this video! I have been selling Avon since September 2, 2010 and when I started I made some of the same mistakes lol.

  • @eric0087

Thanks Eric ☺ It's always cool to hear from guys who sell Avon. I love it! God bless you.

  • How exactly did you register your business with the IRS? Is there a specific process that has to be followed?

  • hey i am an avon rep i am an adv unit leader...i need to motivate my downline to sell any suggestions

tell me more about the tax brake, please

  • @memofsu27

Sweet! I can't wait to join leadership! For more tax info go to my channel - the tax vid is on autoplay ☺

  • yea thats what i am doing now I have been selling avon for about 8 months now, and i do love it and i do have my regular costumers but my orders are usually around the $200 range just from family and friends. I do have business cards I got free from vistaprint, I just dont know how to advertise any where else. And i dont feel comfortable going up to strangers just yet, I mainly sell to hispanic women, because I am hispanic, I just wish i could get to your level, but i dont know how.

  • @jgh3491

Once you conquer that fear of selling to strangers you'll see your business take off to a new level instantly. Like Nike says, just do it! ☺lol There's nothing to be afraid of, you'll see. God bless u & be well.

  • thank you for the advice its a good way to start, but how did you get more clients other then friends and fam

  • @jgh3491

Referrals are a good way to get customers, also advertising, on the street sales, I carry business cards everywhere, and door-to-door in my own neighborhood. Refer to youravon.com for the tutorial on getting new customers and let in sink in. Friends and family IS a really good way to start.

  • how did you get out of your comfort zone, im the same way i always just dress normal, jeans and a tee...i need some advice

  • @jgh3491

One step at a time honestly. You can dress up and go out door knocking, sure, but if you're uncomfy with yourself people can tell and you'll come off akward.

Just start out slowly, if you're not used to suits...start with a blazer and your jeans. Not used to dresses? Start with a dainty blouse. Get comfortable going outdoors a little more kempt than usual. Baby steps ☺ Looks aside, your product knowledge & customer service is what retains customers so WOW 'em with that. God bless!

  • You are so awesome! i'v deffo subscribed and if u had a rate bar i'd like it all the wayy! xxxx

  • @nixieeblossom

Aw, thanks so much Nixiee ☺ Take care Doll!

  • This was awesome!! Who is the SBA? It's the end of the year, is it too late to register?

  • @bernapril20

Thanks ☺ For more info about the Small Business Administration please visit SBA.gov Thanks for watching & God bless u.

  • Yes this is a pretty good video ive been selling Avon since 2002 I got over 500 customers on and off i was in Presidents club in 6months the first year of selling at my job, then i quit and 2004 i started selling Mary Kay sold $600 dollars in that tried to change my customers people didn't want to buy Mary Kay. Went back to selling Avon got Presidents Club again in 2005, then been selling ever since but now i am an Avon Rep, no more Presidents club but i do have 127 that orders every 2 weeks.

  • @mskeishapac

Thanks. I'm trying to get on your level!!!

  • This was a great video and you had some great ideas. Job well done!!!

  • @TeeSalesAvonSC

Thanks ☺ I wish you well in ur business!

  • i have a question: i am interested in selling meetmark by avon. if i choose; later on down the line can i sell avon too?

  • @foxyvixen19

I sell Mark and Tiny Tillia (which is the new baby line) through Avon ☺ I know Mark Reps that sell Avon so I'm sure it can be done but you should ask a Mark Rep directly. Have fun!

  • I receive that blessing in the name of Jesus and I pray the same for you ☺ Thank you so much for watching & your positively encouraging feedback - Stay sweet, love!

  • Chavela, I just want to say thank you for taking the time to make this video. It was VERY informative and I am a new rep so you brought to light some great pointers. I pray GOD'S immense blessings over your business. You are awesome. I will definitely be keeping in touch, you seem like the type of person one needs on their team. (Smile) God bless you and keep inspiring people who aren't afraid to dream.

  • is avon really tax deductable?

  • @0kittyHell01

Yes, because you file as self employed ☺

  • newbie AVON rep here, I'm on my 3rd campaign! And yes I do totally agree about not going ca-ca-crazy on them demos (and deal of the day!) Especially if you have a low credit limit in the beginning like me. Great tips and I love how you keep real :)

lol, Thanx Bella, so are u ☺

  • yes thats true..sent back some boxes this week .. Avon been real nice to me ..one girl on our team sold 300,000 ok she gets ro keep100,000 for herself ..I have no idea how she did it .. Anyway ..thanks for you vid ..I been having to rethink how I m gonna make this happen . But its been a great journey .Tax ID for Avon cool.

  • @Leilasnewavon

Yw & thanks so much 4 watching ☺

Yes, the tax id helps so much. Especially with getting permission from the city to set up our tables on the street.

  • @TheSophistiquette I thought i needed a sales license to set up the table on the street. to get tax id dont u have to register ur business name with the city ..and then u get a tax ID? or is it directly with IRS? One guy said he registered his business as exempt but Im not sure what that even means..

  • @Leilasnewavon

Hi, I'm not sure if I answered this in ur box or not. I was just going through some vids again but incase I didn't: I registered directly with the IRS as a direct seller and I always make sure to check with the city before I pick a new location. I don't choose locations where I need a license. My advice is to look up your local SBA to get you started and explain to them your goals. They should have all of the info you'll need to register. I hope this helps ☺

  • Hmm, I feel motivated.

  • chavela, You are a good person to put this up, I am sure it will help others starting their business.

  • @liliacfestival23

Aw thanks, I hope it does ☺
