I just looked and Duchesnay's version. She is good but I just watch her as top level ice dancer and know that Jayne is twice as good. She has better lines, she has better poise, her hands are always perfectly placed. Chris has so much expression that he really means it. Isabelle Duchenay has longer limbs, she looks willowy but less controlled that Jayne, her shoulder line seems less elegent.

Thank you so much for posting "Missing"(from "Bladerunners")I thought I would never get to see it again.T&D are pure theater on ice.They are like two angels on a cloud, their edges deep and making nary a sound (unless they mean to)this might be my favorite program of theirs. Everything they do is enchanting.

The song is called "Dolencias" and it's available at iTunes. This version is by Incantation from their album "Panpipes of the Andes."

This is the best version, it looks effortless. Duchesnay always looks like everything is a bit hyper.

@letter2lee Jayne has better lines and expression, it comes from her heart, while Duchesney looks like it trained into her. Jayne's talent and grace is so natural that it endures.

How anyone can compare the Duchesnay's skating to this i cannot understand. This is far better (in my opinion) and I feel it has a lot more emotion in it. Sure the Duchesnay's version had emotion, but I felt theirs was foreced, but Jayne and Chris' just seems so natural.

Duchesnay could never, ever have the chemistry on ice or in life that Jayne has with Chris. Every routine that Jayne and Chris do is from their souls which seem to belong so beautifully to each other.

Duchesnay never understood Chris, which is why she lost him.

Torville and Dean is my all time favourite dance skating pair, however,I found with this performance I like the Duchesnays raw expression better.

Jayne is also usually spely Jane but you can spell her first name... and also the point that vill might usually end with an e doesnt mean thats an excuse...how many videos are there of Tnd on here ?? hundreds... you see them on dancing on ice... you should know how to spell their names if you liked them that much! thats like not being able to spell your fave song!

So you do not think that T&D is my fav.started watching figure skating in 1995,loved teams Bourne-Kraatz,Anassina-Piezera­h,ect.Heard a lot about Torvill-Dean,watched their amature & professional performances,their syncronization,inovation,lifts were amazing.However,their excellence is what made the Duchesnays RAW expression more apealing in (Missing)

how have they gotten old??you can NEVER get tired of watching them skate and now they have dancing on ice which shows there still not past it. And there glory days arnt just the 1984 olympics, there still the most famous ice dancers. I agree, the Duchesnay looked more sincere. This dance fits them perfectly and the choreography was doing beter effect with Isabelle & Paul IMO.

But it's nice to see two pairs dancing the same dance, it really shows that the effect depends on the choreography and how it's interpereted.

This is actually the free dance that Christopher did for his then girlfriend (one half of the French ice dancing team, the Duschany's), which coincidentally won them a gold medal at world's.
