Most Arabian and PtHA Shows have a class for horses that are 2 years or younger. Sadly these rarely have a class for just weanlings, so it is harder for a foal to compete against older horses. Imprint training when a foal is born, allows for easier stress free training to do the basics at halter, with the most important being to just whoa and stand. We have had four 16 week old foals go on to win World Championship titles with their amaetur owners.

for older horses there are Modeling classes. they are virtually the same as halter classes, just for older horses.
