einer meiner lieblingsautoren <3<3<3.. vor allem seine sprachgestaltung... einfach himmlich^^... er präsentiert die deutsch sprache wie kein anderer.... einfach so gehaltvoll... seine sprachgestaltung erinnert mich auch, ein wenig, an poe.. wobei poe mein lieblingsautor nummer eins ist^^...

C'est une blague vraiment vraiment nulle pour Thomas qui parlait très bien français. "Regarde Thomas, c'est encore un coup d'Hétlaire!"

Eine Veröffentlichung solcher "homo" statt "heteresexueller" Emotionen wäre früher gar nicht möglich gewesen. Es ist schade, dass Kommentare hier so negativ sind. Der Film zeigt nach meiner Auffassung vielmehr sehr schön das komplizierte und komplexe Wesen dieser Familie Mann.

@Ceyavali I can only surmise what you're saying and this only because Mann's body of work I find most daring, probing into corners of psyche we - people - dare not examine. For me at least he still is the most important novelist, thinker of the past century.
