Dear Alan,

Thanks to see this video.

I'm the person who taped it on VHS and I send a couple a months ago, a copy on DVD, to a friend of mine in The Netherlands.

It,s realy great to see it on your page.

However, this performance was not broadcasting on German TV, but on Dutch commercial channel RTL 4, with the program with the unlikely name HITBINGO.

Gerry looked very shaped and in form on this tape.

It was a great Singer-/Songwriter! I miss him!

hey alan..its charlie.. i was the person who said how much i love 'long way round' and thought it was gerry's best... i see you went to the tribute..very jealous indeed... i hope it bloody great and a fitting tribute... i wonder why barbara didn't sing on the city to city, she's on the album

wonderfull... Alan i keep wondering how Gerry seemed to do German TV but practically zero at home ! Lets hope more long lost memories are made public by Martha & the record companies.
