These guys are fucking stupid, and the guy saying "there have been armed rebellions in brazil, venezuela, peru" is making shit up. Venezuela is a SOCIALIST country, that's why the people are poor and hungry, brazil is capitalist and that's why the standard of living for the average guy is rising so dramatically.
@JJaouli1 Youve oversimplified a lot. Brazil is a mixed economy, it mostly relies on exporting resources, and is one of the most unequal countries in the world. Look at the slums of Rio.
@tph2010 If you really look at the increase in the standard of living for the average Brazilian you'd see it is rising DRAMATICALLY and will continue to do so. In the next 20 years, the wealthiest countries guaranteed will include Brazil and you will see further decreases in poverty as the governments of the world return to a gold standard and get out of the way of capitalism.
@JJaouli1 The country's high income concentration is revealed in figures: the richest one per cent of the population – less than 2 million people – have 13 per cent of all household income. This percentage is similar to that of the poorest 50 per cent - about 80 million Brazilians.
@tph2010 It doesn't matter, if you tax it, it will go to bureaucrats that will be bought by big business so they will always get their money back in subsidies, bailouts and tax breaks. And even if you tax all the wealth from the rich people, they'll most likely have it back in 18 months. Poverty is not something governments can cure, it is something they always cause.
@tph2010 I'll PayPal you $1000 if you can show me one society that has seen a dramatic increase in standards of living for the average person through socialism not capitalism.
@tph2010 You can't point to such a small number of people and say "well if these people aren't rich then its not good". In the world you either will always have wealth inequality or you will have everyone being equal but we'll all be poor and socialist.
@JJaouli1 It's not about "a small number of people who arent rich" guy. Get out of your bubble, most people in this world dont live like the those United States. There are a few people who control vasts amount of land and wealth, while a majority live in poverty, and much of them in dire poverty. "Capitalism" has resulted in fewer and fewer controlling more and more. Open your eyes and do some real research.
LISTEN UP FOLKS, "A revolution is not a dinner party, or writing an essay, or painting a picture, or doing embroidery; it cannot be so refined, so leisurely and gentle, so temperate, kind, courteous, restrained and magnanimous. A revolution is an insurrection, an act of violence by which one class overthrows another". - UNCLE MAO
What about the thousands of factory buildings that once employed Americans? What is your opinion of the people who are displaced as a result of these properties being sold? We have to also stop assuming that the poor just sit around waiting for help. The majority of the lower class people are hard workers who are trying to pull themselves up.
@tw1704 indeed, I would like to see a chart which shows how many hours people work based on their income. It wouldn't suprise me that it would show how poorer people get how longer they work.
So the government just thru everyone out of the projects and made them homeless so they could be turned into condos for the rich? Is this what this assclown Johnson would have us believe?
I believe that maybe at one time those buildings were government housing for the poor, they became so run down that the government built new housing for the poor and had a choice to tear the building down or sell it. They got lucky and sold it to someone that spent millions remodeling the building, who in turn was lucky enough to sell high end condos in a really bad part of town. Thats what I think happened. Another failed housing project turned into a successful private one.
u have absolutely no historical background it is ridiculous yet have the audacity to criticize democrats for their views? you're out of your mind. -->"Thats what I think happened. Johnson should come to Maine to tape all the white people, rather than assume it's only blacks who are poor. Maine one of the poorest states because it's taxes on small business is so high. And yet an immigrant can come to Maine and be given-Free health care, dental, housing, cars, cell phone, Free college, food, heat/hotwater, etc. That's Trickle down from the system to the people who never paid into the system.
No, you don't because you don't have to. Good people, usually the ones that are the most successful and yes rich, feel an obligation to give to charity. Thats what is wrong with the left, they believe that the rest of the world is as big a piece of shit as they know they truly are themselves.
I love you for doing this film... Thank you. I pray this will open the eyes of the very rich...
