DVB-T TV on a Phone.... using v4l it sounds pretty logical (thanks to Android). And what about the battery life?

That is pretty amazing. I looked at the link but unfortunately it was too complicated for me. And I don't think I will be watching much telly on my telephone. However if it were something I could buy and just plug in, provided the price were reasonable then I would buy it.

Does anyone know if its possible to use a USB DVB-T receiver on Nokia N8 and get free to air TV? It does have USB OTG but i am not sure about the drivers as those USB DVB-T sticks are ment for windows operating systems usually.

Brilliant i hope host mode gets sorted for the n9

It looks like it might be an issue so far, so fingers crossed.

Host mode really is a must to make the N9 compelling to me.

Im still getting it regardless, coz there's still so many other great aspects to it.

There was just so many things I was hoping for, that they didn't deliver.

Then again there's quite a few great things I wasn't expecting.

So overall I'm pleasantly surprised/happy!
