@mbahmusalto The lift only goes down if Vile's stage is located on that level. there are two other ones you could try.

Yes, it works, all of it. I have the gamecube collection version, and in the game the hint tells you can use the ray splash as well, so your right. I used both weapons in my case. Man, half the bosses are so easy to evade when they only have two moves! Good vid. :)

But I have a very good terrible excuse: in the MMX3 manga, Zero and X fought with Bit and Bite, so they know each other, so in the afterlife they were angry about Zero don't being killed, and X having the awesome Z-saber

You could use ray splasher could kill Vile

You don't need to drain all his life with the Ray splasher or the blades to kill him, just finish him off with em. You don't need all the upgrades either to get the sword.

1 the x version of the saber does 3 hits insted of 1 and it leaves all bosses with 1 hp(meaning 2 hits to kill even the final form of sigma)

2 if u do it on the wall x actually ltes go of the wall and u end up shooting it at the wall so players bewere...

You can kill Byte with the ray splasher and Bit with the spinning blades (i don't remember if it was the spinning blades or the bomb). If you kill both you will be able to different boss in doppler's stage 1.

Some of the things in this game are able to be found on their own, but there are just some that you need the walk through to help you in the right direction. Otherwise, they're a pain in the ass to find. Like I didn't know about the gold chip 'til I read a walkthrough.

@digimonextreme4 you are mistaking the ride armors as the chips. What you have is called the frog ride armor. In order to use it you need the Chimera Armor or the (N) chip thing located in the Blast Hornet stage. You need the Tornado fang to get it tho. (Rhino Boss power)

@LaNekra Thats just it. You can only find his teleporter in an active level. Or in other words the boss of that level cannot yet be defeated. There are no secret requirements for finding Viles secret factory other than finding the teleporter in one of the three levels that you haven't beaten. Sorry man looks like your gonna start over...

I did everything this said, and I didn't kill Zero, and when I press Select, nothing happens. I checked to see if the boss was in the next room, and it was (obviously I used a save state there). WHY WON'T HE APPEAR!!!!!!! I went through a whole YT 100% playthrough on this and I can't get the Z-saber.

Yes you can also use the Ray Splash move you learn from the tiger. It is actually easier too.

Sorry but there is nothing you can do now... You gotta restart and be sure to use the saw blades or ray splash. just google megaman x3 passcodes and look for one that is just as far as you are.

By the way, once you get Zero´s saber. the game is not funny anymore. You can literally kill a boss with two hits xD.

The gold chip allows you to Dash twice [even in the air], use a buster move that powers up as you take damage [it acts as the arm upgrade fully charged], Increases your defense, and most importantly allows you to gain health by standing still for awhile [it may take a long time of around ten or more seconds to start regaining health, but you can fill up your sub tanks this way] Why was it nerfed?
