The fossa and its distant twin, the Sulawesi civet are mongoose in cats clothing! But this mongoose on steroids and its equally weird cousins, the foxlike fanaloka, and the squirrellike boki boki have been Malagasy waifs for millions of years! Darwin would LOVE it here!
