Look at the absolute SHITTY quality of the playing field in Minnesota on Dorsett's 99 yard run.  That was a MNF game! How far the quality of product the NFL has come.

I love how Roger says "I throw an 8 yard pass and get credit for 95 yard touchdown." Nice to hear a quarterback give credit where credit is due. A lot of quarterbacks get credit like that because the receiver makes a tough catch or makes a great run after the catch.

He definitely deserve higher than 77 and he surely deserves to be hgher than Darrell Green - who they have at 76.

1:55 - That's some of the greatest speed ever displayed by a running back, it was Eric Dickerson like. Just seeing him BURN the defenders who had the angle on him is pretty amazing.

THe only running back that was better than Dorsett during his time wAS wALTER pAYTON. Dorsett was better than Earl Campbell and Eric Dickerson

the thing that makes runners better then tony is most of tony's best runs he was never touched. and just about every back ahead of him on this list made it a point to run through people.

@1BigChris7 meh. great player, to be sure. pro-football-ref has him at #117 in career value, and, while that isn't an absolute, i'm inclined to think that he's where he ought to be. didn't score a lot, fumbled too much, and was not a particularly useful pass receiver. top 50 is for brown, payton, e. smith, and sanders. faulk, too, i'd guess. dorsett just shy of that.
