I'm doing very well everyone and now Johnathan is a vey handsome three years of age and has a brother Christopher age one. Unfortunately I was rushed to the back to have a c-section because he didn't want to come out and his brother was the same way, but it was funny because went into labor two days after Johnathan birthday and gave birth to his brother.lol

I found when I was in labor with both of my babies that laying down made them worse...I gave birth in a center with both of them so I had the option of moving around more freely. However, I remember that and that is exactly how I remember feeling. THe most vivid memory that I have is, water was my friend! Oh boy, we women are crazy b/c I'm gonna go through this again any day now!

I've now had the babies that I was talking about and I can say that I've had the pleasure of doing both ways. I can say that both ways are fine. I still prefer doing it with a midwife and doula...it's more relaxing (hahahah) and feels better throughout, at the end, but, hosp. was not as bad as I thought, it's more "medical" and black and white than a doula and midwife.

Back in 93, i witnessed my mother go thru contractions when having my lil brother. She covered her mouth with pillows to keep from screaming. She was too far gone for an epidurol. I love woman because you are ALL beautiful; and what you have to put up with to bring life into this world. Put it like this, if i was born a woman, i would still be a virgin! LMAO

Good work girl!! Wish i could say the same about myself. I had pain for 30 hours, pushed for 1 hour and when baby was half out, they said her head was stuck, so they had operated me. I had double pain, coulnt walk for 3 weeks. But a month later i was ready to have number 2 :o)

i was in that kinda awful pain 16 hours(contractions) Actual giving irth part wasnt awful at all ,it was relief to 16 hour pain what i had efore ...ut yea giving irth was the most awful pain and experience in my life...i dont mean that my son was:) ut the irthing process itself was awful

For me sweetie, there not that bad, but it depends on how much u can tolerate. And whether or not you are using epideral. I went throught labor, for about an hour, until I decided with the epideral, which was wonderful. The worst pain was in my back, but it wasn't THAT bad. Some women tolerate it worst than others. It just depends. But my experience was not bad...congrats, and good luck!

i jus had my son 8 months ago, and i remember everything. I was six days over due, and my contractions were like nobodies buisness, they hurtted so bad. my mom and fianc'e was there, and i honestly stoped pushing my son during the labor, It felt like an outter body experience but you can feel all the pain. But we can all honestly admit that it was worth it. Congrads girl.

Contractions hurt really bad. Breathing exercises does not work. I think it's the most pain a female can ever experience. But don't worry about kids right now. Think about what you are going to be when you finish school. Much love
