  • Thank you - Thank you - I am overcome - this dream I had - amend - keep having of this place I've never been to called Wadi Dra and a tent where Yeshua does not let me run from Him, He does not let me hide, He does not let go - the feeling when I wake up overcomes me every time and this song came darn close. Thank you.

  • @aibef777 The Bible ! Hahah I am not kidding. The Song of Solomon. "Your love is better than wine" ; "No wonder the maidens love You" ; "Pleasing is the fragrance of Your perfume". All this is the magnificent love language of God and His Church!

  • @4848613 Yes it is the love language of God and His Church. It's also the beauty that God created to be in a marriage relationship. The marriage institution itself is a picture of Christ and His Church.

  • @aibef777

It's a song by Heather Clark called Kisses of Your Mouth. It's on her Dark Yet Lovely album which is a collection based on Song of Songs.

  • Hi. What great images. I love the picture at 2.59 mins - 3 warrior women in chainmail, one holding a sword. Can you please tell me where you got this or what it's called as I would love to try and get a print of it, I think it is awesome. Thanks.

  • Both and, not either or.

  • Actually I believe this song of songs, greatest of songs, is actually about the sexually intimate relationship of King Solomon and the Shulammite. It is a celebration of sexual love between and man and a woman in covenant with each other. This song is most holy. I tend to think the religious "spiritualize" this song because sexual repression is so rampant in Christianity. We need the Lord to heal us and birth true sexual freedom in us, it is who we are. It is ok to be sexual, God's way,

  • @rockingonzo1 The book uses the language of sexual love between a husband and wife, which is something beautiful and good that God created, but the early saints used the book magnificently and extensively to explain it as a true analogy of the love between God and His Church. If we look in the New Testament the most used metaphor of God and His people, and indeed in all the Old Testament, is a marriage! Something of which earthly marriage, though good and instituted by God, is a mere fragment...

  • @rockingonzo1 ...of a reflection... we are called to something unimaginably beautiful and amazing and perfect... God wants to marry us! And for that He gave His body for us, gave His flesh, suffered and died, laid down His life... At the Last Supper, He said, "This is My body, given for you." Just like the act of sexual union in marriage the man gives himself to his wife completely, effectively, "this is my body given to you." Our bodies in union are an image of what God intends for the Church.

  • @rockingonzo1 And just like the perfect husband Christ will never leave us. "never will I leave you, never will I forsake you." This is deep down what every woman wants in a man, those women who are called by God to marriage. And the man deeply longs to be trusted and loved in that way. And for that he has to fight to be worthy of that love all the time. But we are only human and we are all wounded by sin, and both husband and wife need enormous compassion for each other for the marriage to work

  • @rockingonzo1But I agree we can "overspiritualize" Christianity and make it seem like it is opposed to the body and the flesh. It is not! It is violently opposed to sin. But it is by no means opposed to the body. God created sex and it is beautiful. The reason why the Church is so strict in sexual morality is not because sex is evil, but because it is good. Why do so many people hate Christianity? It's not because Christ asks us to feed the poor! It's because mainly of the sexual morality!

  • @rockingonzo1 The body and the soul should not be separated. That separation is actually called death. It is unnatural for us to be separated from our bodies. This is why Christ promises a resurrection for all His people at the end of time. We will have our old bodies back, made beautiful and immortal forever, like His. This is the glorious calling He has on us. And your genital organs are source of so many wounds because sin is in the world, and there is so much hatred for what is holy.

  • @rockingonzo1 Why do you think we have so many crude slang terms for genital organs, but not for our elbows? People are wounded by sin and sin attacks what is most holy - God, the Sacraments, the Bible, and human beings, and where are humans most vulnerable? Why do we wear clothing? Not because our bodies are bad! Because they are good and we know that if we expose them, they will be vulnerable to abuse! This is why we shouldn't wear skimpy clothing! Not because the body is bad, but good.

  • @rockingonzo1 This is what it means to have total nakedness with Christ. Nakedness of soul in bringing to Him all our wounds from the past because of our sin and the sins of others done against us, which we can forgive, if we believe in His amazing love and power. just like a woman who is so wounded by a past life, she can come to her perfect husband and trust Him and He will never judge her nor say or feel anything bad just love her for who she is. This is who Christ is. He really is husband.

  • @rockingonzo1 Anyway sorry for writing so much. I loved what you said and I was compelled to answer. This is the beautiful message of Christianity and especially exposed in the Theology of the Body by John Paul II. Our bodies are good and an image of heaven, of what God wants to give to us. He is Saviour of the world.

  • @4848613 Please do not apologize, I have been touched by your attention to my comment and everything you have said has ministered to me very much, I thank you ! Lets agree together that Hashem will heal the "Church" of her relational brockeness and that will manifest itself in our relationship to ourselves, our marraiges, our children and our communities so we can be the image of God to humanity that the L-rd desires us to be.

  • Beautiful

  • @djon125 Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it, the Lord is so good! God bless you =)
