  • I had this record Louder than Love on cassette when i was about 13/14 (my guitar teacher let me borrow it) and i would close my door and chill listening to this tune all night after school. Sounds even better thru headphones!!!

  • First time I saw them they opened for Soul Asylum at the Metro in Chicago in 1988 and my life changed forever.

  • "Throw it awayyyyyyy" Band kicks back in and he's still holding it!!!

  • It's fucking Ugly... yeah.

  • Love the middle part...that's just f**king sick

  • What?! I've been listening to Soundgarden for years but have never heard this awesome song before, how can that be?

  • @therunningman09 Pick up Louder than Love

  • This is surely one of the best Soundgarden songs. Love the trippy part starting at 2:25

  • I'd like to dedicate this song to the TROLLS! ;)

  • I want to be in a mosh pit during hurricane conditions listening to this

  • this came out 2 years before I was born.

not only spoundgarden and aic but also ted, mudhoney, malfunkshun... :)

  • how different does cornell sound those years! but his voice still rocks! AND I THINK THAT EVEN BETTER IF IT IS POSSIBLE!!

  • I remember picking up this album when I was 16, and I remember vividly the exact monet my face got melted off. I had never heard anything this heavy before, and this album set in stone Soundgarden being my favorite band of all time.

  • @Umy1332 great story =)

  • @Umy1332 i have often called the the modern led zepplin for the broad styles they injected into rock and the vast tapestry of sound they created.

  • I was first drawn into Soundgarden by their later work, Down On the Upside and Superunknown. But their early days, these we're so underrated. Listen to this!!! This is metal at it's finest! Everything pre-Superunknown was so fucking heavy and pure. I love it.

  • Last night (07/21/2011) they played this song in SF on the reunion tour, and it was even heavier than I remembered it. Chris Cornell just turned 47, and he *still* is the best rock vocalist of our time!

  • @artaxs I've got tickets to see them this Friday in Vancouver... I'm only 18, but I've been listening to Cornell since I was born. I'm glad to hear he's still amazing. Can't wait.

  • @amandacounter I was there too man

  • @artaxs i was at that show and yes i agree. it was the greatest show ive ever seen. soundgarden fuckin rules

  • They played this in Toronto the other day. I didn't see most of it because I couldn't hold my bladder any longer. Although it pains me to have miss it, it was pretty cool seeing people rocking out at the urinal.

  • la cancion mas chingona de soundgarden

  • la cancion mas chingona de soundgarden

  • love that drum intro

  • money can't give what the truth takes away

  • I remember getting this album on cassette way back when. Ah, nostalgia.

  • BEST VOICE EVER! E V E R !!!

  • WOW

  • Please upload better quality audio. MP3 256 should be enough.

  • i hope know one hates mew for this but i think hiro was better tahn shepard

  • Wrong picture. In this song bass was played by Hiro Yamamoto, not Ben Shepherd.

  • nothing compares! classic!

  • i didn't know led zeppelin came put with a new album!

    xD

chris sounds alot like robert plant dont cha think?

  • @11joshman yeah but more metal sounding I reckon...more this style: Miljenko Matijevic

  • Right around 3:50 this song is pure ecstasy

  • @InTheArmsOfGod That would make a great ring tone!

  • I was never a big Soundgarden fan, but this song, this song is a frickin' epiphany. No other way to describe it. x

  • @Teetee33 Well you better acquaint yourself with their awesome catalog for more epiphanies!

  • @ProseCombats Nah, that's cool. I grew up during that era. This song is the one Soundgarden tracks of a few of them that didn't turn me off in some way (I think it's cuz Chris Cornell's voice just rubbed me wrong more often than not, dunno). They had it goin' on the day they laid this one down.

  • O YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA If you were my to give I mught throw it away
