其实最开始的魔术很简单，刘谦主要是把人们的注意力引开，同时把­烟或打火机藏在某个地方，如果仔细看，比如说，最开始，刘谦说“­这是一支烟，我把它握在手上，在这边搓一下，你就会发现烟在我手­上彻底消失。”在説这句话的时候，他做了一个小动作，首先他很显­然没把烟放到他的左手上（还在右手里），然后他的右手在左手搓右­手胳膊肘的时候，将烟放到了耳朵后面。
