Great song from back in the day... Dan Hartman got his start back in the '70s with the Edgar Winter group - he wrote and sang "Free Ride". We miss him... as if we need another reason to find a cure for HIV.

This Hartman at his finest, it would climb to the # 6 spot on the billboard chart in 1984 and in my opinion should have gone to the very top. We lost him way too soon in 1994 but he left behind a legacy that will long live on. What a talent and what they say about the good dying young is so true, R.I.P our dear Danny!!!
