  • She's perfect!!!Perfect!!:D

  • She's certainly talented but her playing style is a bit too awkward and spastic for my tastes.... : p

  • she better have won! her music actually speaks to you

  • @mikemike92034 Thank you =)

  • I love her expression. And did I say that violin sounds absolutely first-rate. It is so rich and expressive and resonate. But it has some sweetness, which is often lost in powerful violins like most guarneris. Anyone know what she is playing here? Strad?

  • She sounds amazing. And that violin she is playing is truly first-rate, crystal clear and powerful, responsive, expressive. Love it. Amazing.

  • her expression @ 8:43 is frightening

  • @BrandonE925 LMAO that comment and her face just made my day

  • 5:37 to 5:45 DANGER!!!!!!

  • brava yuki! it was an honour to play with you in the orchestra this week!! :)

  • Certified Intergalactic!

  • Why is this only rated as 4 stars?Should be 5

  • That's what they call "prep" beat to have players come in on time!

  • .II

    I__I

  • Paganini in a woman´s body!!!!

  • but her arms are bigger than mine.. and im not exactly a woman. ahah

  • LOL!

  • super.

  • judges in competitions are not dumb or deaf. they are pros.

this young musician is certainly a virtuoso, no doubt

  • she looks kinda buff o_o...

  • lol its betta than being weak tho...

im really week i cant even open a bottle of juice and im terribly useless T.T

  • I see her in sarasate competition, very good tecniqe, but without feeling

  • I find funny when someone says that: 'she's soo crap. So much technique but no emotion'. innit? ;o))I don't think is her case.

  • actually is not funny , is a huge tragedy in the music world nowadays, we can see tones of good musicians, but not big masters as people in the 50's 60's were used to see.

  • I find funny when someone says that: 'she's soo crap. So much technique but no emotion'. innit? ;o))I don't think is her case.

  • yeah, people can harp on these musicians faults (I admit I do too) but it seems that many exagerate or even makeup stuff just to feel better about themselves. If you're competing in the tchaikovsky competition, you're good enough to not be judged by any other than the judges or other world class/accomplished musicians which I most definitely don't consider myself considering im still in school

  • she still won :D!!!

  • The feeling is inside, wrapped round her chest.

  • she won the sarasate competition

  • Eh, kinda too straight edge for me.

  • I stand corrected. The female Paganini is born.

  • At last, the female Hercules of the violin is born. Or is she Xena? I'll award her the same prize money as the current titleholder.

  • Bravissimo! This girl is the grand prize winner for me in the violin category. She has herculean hands to tackle Paganini.

  • I don't know about European in particular, but some conductors do, and not always on every piece. I remember Zubin Mehta doing that in the Brahms Double Concerto, it takes some getting used to and can be quite scary!! But I know he doesn't do that on every piece, so I suppose it depends on the piece and on the conductor. Hope that answers your question. Depends on the orchestra too by the way.

  • Great performance. As you would expect from the top laureate of the Paganini back in 2004.
