@kumaonacloud Thanks for your kind comment! We shot this on a JVC GY-HD110u and color graded this with magic bullet looks (that's what gives it the cinema look). At the time I edited this in Sony Vegas pro 8.0.

Now THIS is the style of filmmaking i like :) Awesome job on the cinematography. Interesting concept but great. I have a few questions though. Did you get special permission to use a deftones track or did you just guerrilla style it? lol Im curious for im a huuuge fan of them and team sleep and wish to use one of their tracks for a youtube short film though am not sure about the legal aspects of it. And also, what was your budget if any?

@joseanzaldua we didn't get permission, this short was made for a school final. As for budget the only thing we paid for was the make up for the character at the end. We had lots of great help on this project.

@innovativeFreedom this isn't the look straight off the camera I color corrected it with magic bullet colorista. I only use plug-ins or presets as a starting point if I use them. This shoot however I didnt.

sorry to seem like such a numbskull, but i don't get the plot. So this kid wakes up to find he's alone, then the monster kills him... then the father of the kid finds him dead [why is he dead?] and then the cycle repeats of him going to the bar and i'm guessing he's gonna wake up alone and be killed...
